Interesting Find in Our Garage
DH and I were cleaning out the garage yesterday. The kids sometimes sit out there. There were a bunch of papers on one of the tables. I started going through the pile. They were SD12's papers from school. I was going to throw them away, as she doesn't live here anymore. But one of them caught my eye. It was titled, "My Life." It was something that SD12 wrote about her life. For the most, it was just talking about the timeline of her life. But there was one thing in there that I found interesting:
"My mom and dad had me. Then they broke up and my mom started dating my stepdad. My mom found out she was going to have my sister (SD9) so she got back together with my dad because he would make a better dad for us. My mom didn't like being married to dad so she left and went back to my stepfather..."
DH was blown away by this. He didn't even know that BM knew her current husband at that point in time. He says that he knows what SD12 is talking about. BM left him for about six weeks at one point, but then came back and wanted to work it out. He said that the only way SD11 would have that information is if BM told her. So now, he is wondering if SD9 is really not his daughter. Like he said, it doesn't matter to him. But, it would make sense. SD9 has a half sister who looks identical to her. In fact, they look so much alike that I actually thought the half sister was SD9 in one of the pics that BM has on FB.
It really doesn't matter, but it speaks volumes about BM that she would even imply such a thing to SD12.

I hope so, because that would totally devastate DH. But I don't think she made this up to start trouble, she didn't leave it to be found. This was in a huge stack of papers that she had taken out of her backpack while she was packing her things to move back to BM's house.

Yikes! I found a similar life
Yikes! I found a similar life story from SS15. He said his parents divorced and how devastating it was for him and SS13, but they worked through it. He then went on to say that DH lived with his best friend for months and had fun playing xbox over there.... then DH was hanging out a "friend". He knew DH was introducing this "friend" as his new girlfriend. (We played it off that we were just friends at first to see how skids would be - they were just fine).
In the end, SS15 said he hasn't seen his parents any happier and can't even imagine them together.
My point? Kids aren't stupid. They know and see things... I would totally question the paternity of SD9 though.... ugh.
Our BM has violated the
Our BM has violated the directive so many times. She tells SD12 so much stuff that is not okay. Plus, she will sometimes just make stuff up. She tells her that DH didn't want her and that he chose a new family. She has been filling the SDs heads with this crap since they were little. We are just now starting to undo the damage to SD9.
I found a couple things Puke
I found a couple things Puke wrote. One was something like I was the cause of all her problems with her daddy and she hated me. And the other was that I make her mad 80% of the time. H has never seen these and I have never told him.
