A Very Puke Christmas
My family's Christmas has been scheduled.
Puke is supposed to be here for it. I really don't mind that she'll be here. I do have some ground rules because she has a tendency to push the envelope on things and lose any manners she may have had. That isn't going to fly when we are hosting my family.
DH will be responsible for keeping Puke in line. If he doesn't, I will be very disappointed in him and will be sure to tell him so in addition to Puke not being invited next year.
I will not make excuses for any of her bad behaviors nor be embarrassed. That's all on DH. If she gets out of control, I will take her to her dad and tell him to deal with it.

When we are around DH's
When we are around DH's family, he will say something to her but is very lighthearted and is laughed off. Because it is MY family, I expect her to behave better. My teenage niece would be held to the same standards. This is how my family is. This is how I am.
Again...my family, my rules. He can let her behave how he is comfortable with around his family but not around my family. If he can't do that, then I can choose to not have her around my family again.
