Police: Former Student Admits To Killing Internet Date

From TheWBALChannel.com: Authorities said Brown met Gaumer on the Internet Web site MySpace.com. While details of the relationship are unknown, police said Gaumer was a student at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County, where he lived on campus. Police said he has no criminal history.

Just thought I'd throw this one out for you all to read since we've been discussing MySpace.com recently.

SD has a Myspace page and she has provocative photos of herself, she's indicated that she uses drugs and says "whip and chains - need I say more?" On her page. She's also lied about her age.

It makes DH sick.. but he doesn't know how to handle it.

Hi All,
You wouldn't believe the stuff that my SD posts on myspace.com and also a site on xanga. The stuff you are writing about is tame! The kids are trying to do as much as they can for shock value. I know it's annoying but don't feel bad, my stepdaughter trashed both my DH and myself on both blog sites and has been doing so for years. The only thing you can do is consider the source. At least it's nice to see that there are some parents who are actively interested in what their kids are writing. That's new for a change!

I think that the parents who made those auwful, sick comments should feel and have guilt in their heart and mind forever. How low is it to not only get into a teenagers fight and problems with cruel,inappropriate words, but to get as low as suicidle death because of those words..?..They handled it so immaturely...that im 14..and feel they have made the worst mistake and worst gret the'll ever make, or have. No matter what the fight was about or what she had done or the other girl had done, anything like that, is just over the line and cruel.I feel sorry for Megans parents, and hope the best for them..and to just let them know that you can't live with guilt in your life forever, and you prob. had great moments w/ her, and should rem.those times, and try to turn to god about it all.Sometimes all you need is the love of god, and support.I know it sounds easier to say then do, but just take my advise, and everything will be better.I'm not saying you won't think about her and start to break down or cry, but i'm saying that i've seen so many parents that have lost their children, and for the rest of their lives, they blame their kds death on themselves."i could have done this,i could have done that" dont tell yourself that, or else you'll just end up being just more depressed, and more sad.I hope everything gets settled and over with.

myspace shouldn't be blamed for this.
she went to meet him ... thats her fault.
not myspaces . . . shes stupid.
