And Yet Another New Try for $$$ From Twit -
Yep, A few days back she called, left message that it was urgent so DH called her back. Apparently she is all concerned about her brother and his dealings with hurricane Irma in Florida and she decided that she is going to "organize" the family to all chip in (through her, of course) so they can send him some money because he was flooded out by Irma.
Now, friends, this is an actual, flat out, Twit LIE and DH knows it. First, DH's son doesn't have anything to do with Twit any more....like the rest of us. Secondly, DH and I have been in touched with him before/after the storm as we were concerned about it. So, we know by his first hand account that he was lucky enough not to be flooded out. Lost power for awhile, but that he said he could live with and it was back on in a day. Thirdly, we have talked to him frequently all through the years.
So, you ask, as I did of DH later, where the h*ll does Twit come up with this stuff.
Seems Twit heard this, or so she claims, through the wacky auntie. Wacky auntie is pretty much the only family member that has anything to do with Twit. Twit is going to contact family members have them send her $$ and then sent it to her brother in Florida. DH, to my dismay, didn't get into this obvious lie with her, but he told her that her brother weathered the storm just fine. Twit actually protested that she heard otherwise, yada yada yada. She claims she talked to her brother and he was all flooded out, furniture, etc. ruined, etc. Rather than make a big deal with her DH told her that if his son needed something he would send it to him and didn't need to go through her. That did not make her happy so she hung up.
I asked DH, just to be sure, if his son had any problems or needed any help and DH said no, he was doing just fine. He also said that he KNOWS that Twit did not talk to her brother because they are not on speaking terms and if she had, his son would have said something.
Just another ploy for $$.
But what I can't believe is the outright lies this Cretin comes up with! And that she expects everyone to believe them.

I wouldn't be surprised if the fundraiser Twit is doing has more to do with latest trouble her son got in than anything to do with her perfectly fine brother. But who would send her money if she called asking for court/fine money for her son. Probably nobody.
Because I'm nosy, did your DH ask Twit how that body suit was working and if all the toxins were leaving her body?

No, DH didn't ask her about the body suit, he feels that is BS as well. Me? I think she is into some weight loss thingy and is passing it off as medical because she refuses to believe that there is a connection to weight and what she eats. Personally, I won't be surprised if she comes back with some medical excuse for those stomach bands, staples or whatever they do. She is overweight, but not like the 400+ lber.

Enuf - She honestly beleives that we are all stupid. She could not tell the truth if her life depended on it. The one thing about her lying is that she remembers most of what she says when she lies! This tells me she actually believes what she says....like in denial or fantasy or whatever.
That is one thing that I just could not get ahold of before in dealing with her. If you broke through the lies and confronted her on the actual reality she would look you straight in the face and say she doesn't know what you are talking about. That was really crazy making for awhile until I caught on.
And, if you do should catch her, she will add to the lie so you are suppose to believe more BS.
In my 70+ years I have never, ever encountered any one like her in so many ways. Her kind does show themselves if you watch. Like when she was dancing down my driveway bragging about how she was not normal and never had been. WOW! Or told me, after getting real nasty with me that SHE required unconditional love! In other words, she has the right to treat me and any one else like garbage and we should LOVE her for it regardless of what she says and does. She never, ever does anything because she cares about the person. It always has to be so that she can cry to others about how "great" she is for doing something, along with the poor me, look what I put up with carp.
Nothing is was more insulting than the Christmaes when she dug through thrift stores etc. to give us trashy, used gifts! I'm sorry but it was just hard to be thankful and gracious for a ratty, cheap common ashtray that was wrapped oh so beautifully. And her giving DH the old, plastic greasy used grill set, also beautifully wrapped, and then telling him that WHEN he LEARNED how to use it she would sell him a good one from her pot and pan co!! And the stained, dirty, yellow napkins she gave me for one Christmas because she knows I like nice table linen. Ewwww, those went right into the trash bin.

This is really a good idea. Your DH has had contact with his son and his son has responded that he is OK. If Twit calls again about sending money to her 'fund', DH should tell her he talked to SS and SS said he was fine and never asked for money - or a 'fund me' account. Twit should know that more than one person knows she's lying.

Evidently Twit said she got this story about the son flooding from Wacky Auntie, the only member of the family that has anything to do with her. And Twit talks about her, her problems, and how she just hates Wacky's husband (because he is doing better than Twit's husband). You know what they say about the ole green eye devil, jealousy.
Oh well, that is why we are here and she is back there. Though I really miss the change of seasons etc.

Don't want to start a thread about this but just wanted you folks to know what I found out.
One of our neighbors here is a retired physician, specialist. I asked him about the Twit's claim about the very rare gene she has that has filled her with toxins so she has to use this suit to get them off. Now, I asked it in a gland way, not saying it was my SD or anything.
His response was that toxins is not generally a term used by the medical community. Something that is bad, like an infection is called septic etc. As for the suit, well it is just a sweat suit to sweat off the water in one's body, nothing permanent because that would require actual fat cell loss not just water but it gives one instant gratification.
As far as the "exotic rare gene" inherited....he never heard of any such thing. One may have a tendency to retain water from an underactive thyroid etc., but just retaining toxins...no way.
He asked me how many times my doctor has told me that I need to purge the toxins from my system when I see him for a problem. I said never.
Toxins is a term used by those lose weight fat informercials and diets.
So there you have it from a physician. There is no such thing that he has ever heard of or read about.

AS I have said, I have never seen any of them, except the one with the now ex-fiancée, have any girlfriends. In fact, the fiancée was the one "babies" first girlfriend and he was in his 20's.
