Then and Now

Just a question for some of you ladies who have been "stepping it" for some time now.

Are there any of you out there who initially had a really hard time accepting their skids, but now really enjoy having them around? And if so, how long did it take?

I think some of us are hoping there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks for all replies.

With SD14 gone - I am enjoying SS12 more. It has been 2 years now and I like when he is here. Lot of baby steps with him. But, once her negativity left the house the stress seemed to leave. Wish it didn't have to be that way. But, we have him 50/50 and look forward to the day when he says he doesn't want to live at BM's. Too much drama over there.

I was very overwhelmed in the beginning. It's hard to go from no kids to all of a sudden 3. But after about 2 1/2 years I started getting the hang of it and enjoying my skids. DH is CP and they are with us 2/3 of the time. I still get overwhelmed by all that helping him raise them entails, but for the most part I'm glad they're a part of my life.
