Hello I am new to Step talk and while I have been able to figure out some of the abbreviations, I am struggling with others can you all help to orient me 

This is what I have so far although this could be wrong 

DH: Dad Husband 

BM: Babymama

SS: Stepson

SD: Stepdaughter 

SO: Significant other (??)

Keep reading and posting as you wish and feel the need.

The acronyms will catch up with you very quickly. And sometimes new ones are made up! 

Baby momma. LOL. Bio mother. 

Dad Here. Thats a good one! Dear Husband, although I question that one as its typically the H's that are the main problem...

Welcome. The TLAs (Two or Three Letter Acronyms) take some time to get used to.

Every once in a while a new one will show up.

I hope that you find this to be a good place to vent, contribute and to pick up some useful advice and perspective from others who are living the blended family dream.
