I'm currently reading Stepmonster. I've only seen articles directed at step parents telling us what to expect and what not to expect. So My question is simple and direct. Where are all the books and articles for bio parents to read in order to help them have realistic expectations of their partner? I've found ONE whole (multiple part) article on the topic and that is from stepmothermatters.com

I don't know if this book will help bio-parents have more realistic expectations of their partner, but if you have an ok relationship with BM, there's a book out there titled something to the effect of "No One's the Bitch." It was co-authored by a BM and SM.

It's pretty useless though for most of the people here. Their "bigger" problems were all cake compared with what is too often the norm.
