Does anyone else here wonder how some kids are going to handle going back to school when the time comes? Some kids like school but some just don’t. Any thoughts on this?
I think just like adjusting to home schooling some kids will welcome going back to school because there is more structure, there is a social dynamic that they miss, and just being able to get away from mom and dad...or step parents.
but some kids will struggle going back. Some kids are going to miss having their parents undivided attention, they may have a hard time socially in school and have anxiety going back
there is no one size fits all. I know my sd would Love to go back... she'll say she's doesn't but she needs the social aspect of it all. She misses her friends. She has emotionally regressed since this all started. She is an only child home with her dad all day. They both want a break.
