I originally posted this under other topics, but feel it is best under family court. I am preparing for a deposition next week. I am the new sm to four year old twins. My husband and I are asking for more time. What can I expect from the deposition and how can I prepare. Has anyone here been deposed before. Needless to say this is a bit unnerving.

This was probably the best advice I could have received! Thank you for reminding me I am the supporter! And I am! I do not have kids, but am a 48 year old school teacher. My experience has been babysitting, and teaching preschool, kindergarten, first, second, fourth and fifth grades. We had the kids almost 50/50 (not legally) as the mom was often busy, moving, ill, depressed, etc. When we asked to make it legal through the court she went through the roof. She adored me and now obviously hates my guts. She went back to only letting my DH see the kids 6 days a week according to the original plan. He truly misses them and I love them as well. My own and my DH has a home office and does not travel anymore. I have nothing to hide from my past or I wouldn't be teaching in my district. Thank you again for the great advice!!!!
