Oh - I is Bad re SD but
this is going to help H and I out.
H bought a 0 degree turn mower last year because it is easier for him to get on and the other one, well, needs some real repairs.
We were out in the yard today, enjoying the sun and it came to me. I suggested to H that perhaps the GS would like the old riding mower - he could fix it up. H though that was a great idea as no one tends to want older mowers because it can be pricey to fix them, AND we want to get it out of the shed!
So, he calls the SD and tells her her fat son (obout 400+ plus) can have the old mower but it needs some new tires (inner tubes) and some fixing. That the seat and all was in good shape and the engine runs but might need a tune-up. He didn't tell her all the tlhings that need fixing because we want to get rid of it. Oh, she is thrilled - FREE for her BABY.
Natch that she wanted to come up Sat. and pick it up, but that is not good for us. H. told her he has to get it out of the shed and he's been hurting this week so he will let her know when he get it out (aka gets around to it).
I had to keep from laughing while he was talking because it is going to cost a good amount to fix it as there is something wrong with the steering when turning and other problems. But the motor turns over. H was going to fix it last year until he found out how much it was going to cost (It's about 22 years old)
As H said, hey, if he found out it is too expensive to fix he isn't out anything and we have gotten rid of it..
Might as well put her all
Might as well put her all consuming greed to our use.
He isn't getting the grill because I will be certain to be using it the day they come to pick up the junk mower.
As I said, she is thrilled, oh how nice of H. to give the mower to her Fatso. I can just see the think sinking into the ground as he tries to get on it. Not a pretty thought.
By the time they find out it is a piece of junk, it is out of our yard and not our problem. And if she gets mad, believe me she will, I don't care. What does she expect for free. Maybe it will keep her from trying to get things from us. NOT!
Well played!
Golf clap.
Crap people deserve crap, and that is what you and DH are giving her. Just what she keeps earning. Hopefully her dear sweet lard ass lump of a beggar spawn will learn something. Though as a chip off of her block, not likely.
Well played!
Rags, actually, IMHO
even this piece of junk is too good for them. But I want to be rid of it. LOL!
I like your chess move on this.
Of course be ready for a run back at you and DH to pay for the repairs once they figure out that it is a Trojan horse they have pulled through their proverbial gates.
If they try this, tell them
If they try this, tell them that they are free to sell it for scrap and use the proceeds towards the purchase of a new one.
Asking us to pick up repairs
isn't gonna fly. Hey, how did we know just how bad it was and expensive to fix is my comeback. After all it has been sitting in the shed for a year. As I say, you pay NO money thus you take your chances.
"Never look a gift horse in
"Never look a gift horse in the mouth, SD."
Oooo, this is good! Lol. I
Oooo, this is good! Lol. I applaud you ingenious plan.
It will sit at SS
House. For years. He needs some one to cut his lawn 1
Harry
You are so right. The GS didn't get to be over 400 lbs by doing things. He looks like sasquatch - big, heavy, big long beard (unkempt) and long hair. Eck.
