Coronavirus and BM

So BM is an antivaxer, I know based off peeking at her social media that BM is all "haha, the coronavirus can't touch me," so I can only imagine how not seriously she is taking this and making sure to protect herself and bf's daughter from the virus. Now Virginia is only at 17 confirmed cases of coronavirus, we have pick up of bf's daughter on Sunday... If while she is in our care and the state tells everyone to stay in their homes, etc. what do you do about visitation. Could we keep bf's daughter till the all clear? Do we have to continue with exchanges? I am not trying to sit here and say bf's daughter is better off with us during this, but at the same time I do know it. I mean you all have read how BM doesn't take the time to teach her 3.5 year old to be potty trained, coloes or numbers, etc. and hasn't taken her to the doctors when sick or to get her shots or anything medical, but what do I know. We have stocked up on food and necessities, just in case, more of a just in case the stores can't restock etc. but not over buying like others go without too. Do I think BM did the same? Not really. Do I think BM has been taking precautions? Again, not really.

So selfish little me over here is hoping since we are just waiting on the judge to sign off on bf's divorce, if we happen to go to a quarantine like status, that the judge signs the papers first hahahaha. I am just so sick of soooo many excuses and delays, I don't want next this virus to be the cause of yet another delay. So that is the selfish part of me on this virus, as well as obviously none of my loved ones get it, and to be able to at least work from home so I can continue to get paid. So yeah, there is my wishes that no one has any control over hahaha

Just a weird predicament to be in and was wondering what all your thoughts are on what could happen and what you would do?

That's not selfish. At all.  Keep hoping the same with MY divorce papers.  You just want it done and over with finally!

I think it depends on the order.  If they give advance warning, it's probably safest legally to hand her back.. BUT if it's less notice, keep her, there's no way they'll do anything about that during a quarantine.

is thinking the SAME thing! Yes, yes I do!

Well right now it is joint custody, 50/50, so realistically does he have to? Well that is very true, during a quarantine there is nothing anyone can do!

Exact. Same. Thing.  These things take SO LONG!

Typically even with 50/50 time they'll award someone like 51% to give them just BARELY the majority.  I'm not 100% sure how yours works.  But if it's during his time then NOPE! He'll only need to give her back if it starts like the day after his visitation ends or something I'd imagine.

So it's kinda complicated till September 1, right now it is 50/50 till June 1, then my bf has 100% until September 1, then he only has summer, every other christmas, and spring break every year. But yeah I see what you mean! Hopefully if it ends up happening it is when we have her! But you can't plan these things haha
