It wasn't really a bad day, I mean nobody got into any trouble, the kids all got along with each other, it's just that its sooooo much work....there is no life left for me anymore...from the moment I walk through that door its work, work, work. Tonight we had 7 kids in the house, 5 of them his and 2 of mine, I always feel outnumbered...we finally have everyone in bed, but the house is a wreck...and I just don't feel like picking it up....
Okay ... here goes. You'll recall that we got the email from BM ... trying to make peace, giving DH extra day with SS. You'll recall the DH and BF talked when we took SS to the DDS. Okay, we drove to Wenatchee (about 3 hours away) this weekend, and SS was watching movies, so DH and I talked a bit. We talked about ways to keep the conflict between DH and BM to a minimum, how we were going to handle things, what I could do to make things better, yadda, yadda, yadda.
Just wanted to say thanks to all of those out there that have made my life easier this last year that I have belonged to this site. I appreciate all of the comments some of which were hard to hear but necessary! Thank you!
What are your honeymoon stories? In my situation it was my first marriage and my husband's second. I have a BD14, SD10 & SD6. Primary custody is in our home for all three. We got married close to 2 years ago and put the honeymoon on "hold"...how many had to/ chose to/ do that? If so did you end up having one later?
I have just discovered this site and from reading all of the entries.....I'm so glad to know that I'm not alone. I hate it that so many other people are having to go through what I'm going through but I'm still glad that it's not just me. Let me give you a little history on my situation. About 6 yrs ago I met my Soulmate. He had one daughter and I had one daughter and a small son (not even a year old). We lived 350 miles away from each other. (we worked together via the telephone) We dated for a year. Either he would travel to my state or I to his.
So, today my husband installed a new garage door opener. This is something I've been asking for since we bought our home 3 years ago. Its very nice, but I'm not sure that it will serve HIS purpose.
I found this website today and I'm hoping somehow there is something or someone here that will help me get through this difficult time...I don't want to give up on this marriage, but I never dreamed it would be so hard...its only two years and it is already falling apart...what were we thinking...

BM just called DH and said she is willing to make the custody change to 50/50.
Pick me up off the floor.
Apparently, she said that it has become clear to her for the first time that my issue with her is grounded in the fact that I perceive her as a third person in my marriage. She realized this, she said, b/c she and her DH are having more issues than they've ever had, and it's b/c she has dragged *my* DH as a third person into *their* marriage.
