On my way to pick up SS13 last night after work, some cow hit my brand new car of only 4 weeks :(. I called BF which he then called BM to advise her that I was running late because of the accident (BM and I don't speak, too many issues with eachother). Anyway I finally get to BM house and BM comes out checking out the damages to my car and laughing her head off until SS13 got in the car and we drove off. I'd like to see if she would be still laughing if someone smashed her new car a year ago when she got it.
just wanted to chime in, I am still around, not posting much, but reading and empathizing! I had a knife fight with a pumpkin the Sunday before Halloween, a ridiculous carving session gone awry and I ended up in the ER. I severed a tendon in one of the fingers of my left (dominant) hand, and I had to have surgery on halloween. I have a cast right now and then will have a plastic brace thing for 6-8 weeks, and have 6-8 months of pt and recovery beyond that.
I've been watching (painfully, usually) the dynamics of H's relationship with his daughters, and how SD17 always receives preferential treatment-over anyone-myself and SD13 included.
So, I ask myself why, how. Here's the scenerio. When we first married in the spring, SD17 wasn't coming around. Altho we furnished her with a car, and paid the gas for her to drive over (30 minute drive) she was rarely here. H & I would go there, and take the girls out.
Well, I haven't been on here in a while! First, the site went down, then had some "tween" issues with SD11, then found out after a year and half of trying that I'm pregnant!!
For the new members, DH and I have been married 3 years and I have a BD15, SD11, and SD7 that live with us. We are the custodial household and have had our share of crazy BM stories. For the past year things have calmed down for the most part (about time!) My daughter's father is not involved and we never married so the only "ex" to deal with has been DH's.
In our town there is a place that has dances for 7th and 8th graders. It is on every Fri. that school is in session. They charge a one time fee when it opens. They ask that the parents volunteer for at least one dance. Great! I think the place is a great idea.
ok here goes ive never done this before but i need help my husband of 3 years (dated for 5) have 5 children between us i have 3 he has 2 girls the problem started almost immediately wen i met his then 10 year old daugter she was rude and ignored me as the years went by she became mean to me and my daughter the same age as her but not the boys obviously we were the threat my husband never discilplined her only said yeah shes a bitch but what do u want me to do? i treated her like gold i took time to take her out and talk ect...
