O.K. new stuff. The 19/female has now decided to spent her nights shacked up at her boyfriends momma house in his room with him and every now and again I wake up to find them shacked up in her bedroom. I am not ok with this and he has just let it go. When I finally brought it up STUFF hit the fan. Am I old fashion?

It looks like there are a lot of Texas people on the board and I was wondering if anyone watched the Texans game.

It was AWESOME!! Went into overtime and we won. I was exhausted after the game just from the excitement.

Can’t wait for the Texans VS Dallas game next week!

HELP WITH DEALING WITH ADULT STEPSON WHO JUST RECENTLY REENTERED OUR LIVES

I am having trouble dealing with my adult stepson who is 20. Me and my husband have been married for about 14 years. My ex's wife made things so unbearable and difficult to see his son that at the age of 10, my H decided it would be just be better to wait until he was older to try to have a relationship with him. (His ex would twist their son's head, making my stepson hate me and our son we have together. There would be a 3 hour argument between my husband and his ex every time we would see him.

So, DH went to the doctor last week for a physical, knowing there was something going on with his heart. He's overweight (now trying to lose), a smoker (now trying to quit). His EKG showed slight abnormalities & his chest x-ray showed an enlarged heart. His dad died at 62 from heart disease & was an insulin-dependent diabetic. His mother has heart disease, suffered a stroke 4 years ago, & is diabetic, though not insulin-dependent. Needless to say, it's been enough to scare us into changing our eating habits, & for him to want to quit smoking.

If I am the adult why do I feel like a child runs my house!

Sad So my stepchild(not really her father and I aren't married)but been the only mother in her life for 2 years....Why is it or should I say how is it that an almost 11 yr old girl could be making my life and home hell! I am the adult here but I feel I have lost control.

So my story started about 3 yrs ago. I was recently split up from my husband...and still am today. It was my decision as I couldnt live the way he wanted to live...end of story.
I have 3 children of my own...2 boys...20&18 and a daughter who is almost 10.Only the daughter is by my ex...as I had my children way to young

:jawdrop: I you have been following my blog you know what a total and complete mess BM made of things this weekend. She was the more difficult with me and fdh than she has ever been.after all the smoke cleared, FDH and I reflected and talked about everything, the texts (too many), the phone calls (too forgiving and cooperative on our part) andcwhat we can improve upon in case this happens again. Hahaha! You know it will happen again!
