UUUGGHHH OSD is coming to town- BARF!

DH just informed me that OSD21 is 2 hours away from here and wants to meet up.

DH hasn't seen her in over a year. She has talked to him maybe 2 times in over a year and the last time was because he (me) sent something to her baby for Xmas.

I seriously hope she doesn't plan on asking DH to stay here because it will be a big fat NO! I am assuming she is staying with BM or her DH's family assuming we just now know she is coming to town. However, with the way skids are (and even DH's family honestly) people just show up with only a few hour notices requesting a place to stay. This is one of my biggest pet peeves.

I don't like OSD. I don't want to see her face. It's very likely if she does come over, even for a visit that the other skids will tag along.

My BS8 has been with his Dad for the past week. I was really looking forward to spending the weekend with him- no stress, no bothers, no worries- before school starts back.

I have a big day planned for us tomorrow- Lego Store, Lunch, a little shopping. I 100% plan on leaving if OSD comes over for a visit. However if MSD tags along I feel like I can't leave the house with her here. She is a THIEF. And DH blows it off. I swear I will go off the deep end if something of mine comes up missing!

I ask DH "So do you plan on visiting with OSD here and if so will the other skids be coming?"
His response "Does it matter?"

Fuck yeah it matters. I don't want your thieving daughter in my home. I am tired of feeling like I CAN'T leave if she is going to come over. And if she is here I dont feel like following her around to make sure she doesn't steal.

I swear DH has really been pushing me with the skids since Thanksgiving. PLEASE just allow me to act they don't exist! LOL.

OSD tagged DH on FB stating she is so close to home and can't wait to see her mommy and daddy and her siblings and nephew (MSD18's baby) and her daughters. Her "daughters" are really are step daughters. WTH. And mommy and daddy. Married with a baby. WTH.

UGGGGHHHH I feel like my weekend is ruined. Oh and to boot I have to get a root canal on Monday.

Time to bust out the wine!

Best thing I ever did was put a locking door knob on my bedroom closet door, now if/when SK's come, I put everything of value in there, lock it and leave with the key.

Smart idea, one year our taxes just up and walked out of our house on their own. We know SD took them to her mothers but couldn't prove it. They turned up a year later in the very back of an unused file cabinet.

Mairin this is how I feel. But since DH wont say that just MSD can't come over then I feel like none of them should come over. SS and MSD have stolen from me. SS "manned up" and apologized and it never happened again, as far as I know. MSD did it FOR MONTHS and she still denies it to this day. Knowing that she still is lying about it makes me think she doesn't feel regret or realize she made a mistake.

I get so damn resentful that I have to hide my stuff or watch her like a hawk.

OMG SA this is exactly how I feel and think. I am "glad" to know it's not just me.....I try to put away/hide/lock up as much stuff as I can but everything in my house means something to me.

I have to take clothes out of the laundry room. Washer, dryer or dryer rack because it will come up missing.

And not sure if this is overkill but I hide my toothbrush. I am afraid they will put it in the toilet because they are so evil. LOL.

I too also hide any bills or information like that.

I HATE living like this. I was very open at first until I started getting screwed over, so it's not like I am just doing this or feel this way out of the blue.

I put a lock on our bedroom door and just put everything away in there when the skids would come over. Worked very well, until SS decided to steal the key...

Anywho, I got away with it because I have firearms. So I just told DH that it was to "keep the skids safe." He didn't flinch. But also, he knows that his kids steal so...

Seriously WTH is up with all these skids that steal and our DH's minimizing it?

STEALING is a crime. Just because you steal from someone you know, doesnt make it okay. So frustrating.
