Looked a little offputting, but I think he just loves his kids. People are too critical.

I've never kissed my son on the lips. I'm weirded out by it, probably because my mother never kissed me on the lips. So I guess to each their own, as I know different families/cultures have different ways of doing things. But I'm sorry, the fact that he made the kid come back and give him a big long kiss on the lips is creep factor 1000. And the poor kid was obviously uncomfortable doing so, since he wiped his mouth on his shirt when he was done. WTF. It's like creepy Uncle Fester Molester telling you to come sit on his lap.

The real problem are the people taking these pictures and videos! They are the true perverts, I mean really! How creepy skeevie is it that people are taking pictures and videos of people without their consent?

The problem is the way it’s depicted by photographic journalists and the media.

In general, I do not have a problem with family members kissing on the lips.

I grew-up in a family that did this. I married a man whose family does this. We peck our children on the lips, too.

Whats the big deal. The kid kissed his Dad on the lips. So what. Who cares. Nothing wrong here.

What I saw was a kid who was embarrassed to show affection to his dad on camera. When he was called back over the "peck".. the peck was extended. The wiping off was bravado for not being a sissy.

bottom line is I think the kid was embarrassed to show affection.

I didn't find the kiss as embarrassing as the fact that the kids is basically being put into the spotlight when it is his parent's deal.. he didn't ask for that.

I don't think kissing on the lips between family members is weird at all. I have kissed my parents and grandparents on the lips many times, even as an adult. But that kiss was weird. Really weird.

1. He made the kid kiss him on the lips as payment for being allowed to do something fun. He used the words, "What do I get?"- makes me think he has the kid do this all the time in return for privileges.

2. Just a peck is enough. Why would he demand a longer kiss? What man ever wants more than just a peck?

3. The whole shirtless and being massaged by a man the whole time. Really, he just wanted to ask to do something, and you call the kid in to give you a long kiss while another man rubs your body???? I think it's really warped.

I thought it was creepy as h*ll. I watched with no sound, so only understood the context through what the article said - but going strictly on the visual it was unsettling. I think it made it worse because Brady was partially clothed, laying down, and being massaged by another male.

In any case, the kid was clearly uncomfortable doing it on camera and at his age I don't think he should be forced to "perform" for the camera.

Lips are for lovers. My motto and I've said it here before and I stand by it. Only person who kisses my lips is my DH. End of. I know lots of people kiss their kids on the lips. Personally I find it very :sick:

And you sure as HECK don't give your kid a lingering kiss like he did. Gives me the heebie jeebies.
