Another poster mentioned possibly exchanging phone numbers and even meeting up in a group once a month for coffee or something to vent. I'm from LA, CA...any takers in my area?? Honestly, I am only 21 so most of my friends aren't married much less dealing w SK/BM drama and it would be so nice to go out to dinner w people who will say more than "oh, that sucks" in response to my soap opera life. Anyone??

P.S. Skypers are welcome too!! Coffee dates over skype would be great. Does anyone know if it is possible to have a group skype date? Like with more than one person? I think videochat on Macs have like a 3-way option but I am not sure about skype.

I'm in San Antonio, Texas and used to have a bunch of stepmom friends that I hung out with that I knew from another website. We did girl's weekends up in the hill country and had an absolute blast.

Since everybody seems to have Facebook, and Facebook now has closed (invite only) groups...

Facebook has chat, and groups have group chat. I belong to a knitting group, and boy, is that window ever active!

What do you all think?

I live in Florida. I'm 22 and became a stepmom at 19. none of my friends now or then are married, let alone stepparents. I love the skype idea.
