Conversation from last night....

ME: So what is SS up to?
DH: Not much. I tried to talk to him again about how to budget and save money. I told him if he saves $2000.00 in the next three months I will buy him that radio he has been wanting for his car. ($500.00 radio)

Really!? I just laughed and walked away. So he is bribing this 21 year old military man, to save money...?

I really want to tell him how stupid it is, but I feel I lost that chance when I just walked away. lol

I really am just floored.

Anyone having, or going to, a party for the big game? Are you taking food? If so..what are you taking?

Every year we have a large party. It is so fun!

Anywho... I am making bacon crackers. MMMMMMM! They are so good!!!

Place 1 tsp of brown sugar on a club cracker. Then take 1/2 piece of bacon (not thick)and wrap the bacon around the cracker. Bake them at 250 degrees for about 2 hours. Amazing and addictive.

Ugh...I do not understand how DH can just let stupid crap go!

DH "lent" SS money. SS said he was short because he paid off a credit card and it left him with NO money.

A few days later SS got a warranty card in the mail from an expensive game system. Per the warranty, it was bought the day before SS called for money.

ME: Did you see that warranty card for SS's new game?
DH: Yes.
ME: Did you notice that he bought that a day before he called here for money?
DH: Yes?
ME: And?
DH: And what?
ME: Nothing. (Shaking my head.)

Would you point this out?

SS is 21ish and in the military.

He called DH the other night and told him that he was broke and would not have money for food for the next two weeks. He said he paid off a credit card and accidentally left himself short. So of course DH tells him he will send him money. SS tells him that he can't take money from DH and blablabla. He will just manage somehow. GAG!!

Long story short...Dh sent him $200.00 to his bank account because SS finally took the money after DH kept on him. I am being very sarcastic in most of this.

Do they even speak before they think?

DH and I have some vacation property that we are currently working on clearing for a small camp house. (Weekend get away to the woods and lake ... YAY!) The land beside it is also for sale. You have to drive through our land to get to the land for sale.

Anywho..we were talking the other day and this is the convo...

One more night!

I wish I was a partier or an avid body builder or had some type of hobby that took me away from home a few nights a week. But I am a home body and DH might notice if I just did not come home. UGH. But I only have one more night.

SS did throw us for a loop last night. I thought I was going to throw up.

Let me preface this by saying that when SS went into military, he going to get a college degree (in Law) while in the service. (this is the one that barely passed any school ever.)

My first day to really spend a lot of time with SS since he has been here was Saturday. It was awful. I mean just so annoying that I wanted to puke. Things that happen to annoy me....

Not sure how to handle this. It is a kind of new annoyance. So..SS flew in Saturday and spend that day with BM and then was here for a few hours yesterday and will be back in a week for a weeks stay. FML.

He talked about BM the whole time. Not 10 minutes passed that he would not throw in "my mama" phrase. I am still not used to that. Especially from a 21 year old. GAG.

But the thing that bothered me the most was that he was extremely rude about DH at least 4-5 times though out those few hours.

A few months ago, I started getting heartburn really bad. Did the upper GI and did not have ulcers like I thought I would. But she did diagnose GERD.

I started taking Prisolec and it has helped A LOT. But, I feel "out of sorts" and I am not sure if it because of that or what. A little depressed...a little angry.

Anyone ever taken this before?
