How about skid/kids?

What kind of chores do they have? At what ages?

My two are 17 and 21. SS is 17.

All of the kids are expected to clean up after themselves, load their dishes, wash their clothes and towels, and keep their room from overflowing and stinking. Lol. (I love a clean house, but do turn a blind eye to their bed rooms.) No food in the bedrooms though.

How do you do it?

Just curious about how some of you feel the distribution of chores is at your house.

First off…do you work outside the home?

Do you wash your DH’s clothes?
Do you wash your kids or skids clothes?
Who does the dishes at your house?
Who cooks the most?
Do you do yard work?
Do you combine pay and bills?

Me first. :o)

Do they really forget things that easy?

How do these parents fool themselves like they do? SS has now lived with us for about 5 months and is 17, going on 7, due to bad parenting on BM and DH part.

DH told me yesterday that SS called from his part time job and wanted DH to bring him his wallet that he forgot in his pants. And DH actually told him no. He needs to learn to be more responsible. I almost fell out of my chair.
