Really SS?

How was skid to your DH for Christmas? Did they even get DH anything?

SS brought out a waded up Wal-Mart bag with a pair of Christmas socks in them. Still had the tag of $6.99 on them. I almost fell out.

Little spoilt brat. (Almost 18) He has a job. He just bought himself a $200 pair of sun glasses and he only got his father a pair of socks for Christmas?!!! I was amazed!

My SS has been gone for 3 days so far and will not be back for about 5 more days. This is only the third time he has been away from the house and the longest he has been away since he moved in a year ago. OMG…it has been heaven!!!!

Lets lighten up a second.

And talk about one of my favorite things. Bargain shopping!! Do any of you take bargain hunts serious!? I try. LOL. I have started watching QVC and they have some really good deals SOMETIMES. Sometimes they are really high though. We also have a really nice good will here. I have been to a few terrible ones, but this new one is amazing.

I also like WOOT.com (woot off is happening right now!! YAY) And groupon.com is my new favorite thing.

WHY?

Don’t you hate it when you get home and the skid is there when they were not supposed to be there? ARRRGGG. I look forward to non kid/skid evenings. DH and I have a few drinks, sit outside, talk and relax.

I always know what my kids are doing and when. They know when they have to work and go to school. SS NEVER knows! And if you ask him and he says he knows, then there is only a 50/50 chance of that being true.

Just wow.

Well SS is grounded (if you can call it that) for about a month. He came in at 2:00AM one night while we were out of town. His grounding is that now he has to be home by 10 if he goes anywhere. STUPID!

He also got ISS this week for three days. (In school suspension). Apparently because he forgot his ID badge. LOL. And DH believes him and has not called the school to verify. And he knows what a big fat liar that SS is.

Anyone been pushed to the limit?

Well, SS finally pushed me too far and I let lose on DH. He broke something in my house that should have been avoided. He has been told over and over not to do a certain something and he just continued until he finally broke it. I was livid! DH was livid, but I finally told DH a lot of what was bottled up over the last several months. I have been disengaged, but SS is jerking around with the house stuff now. He listens to nothing!

Do they ever get it?

Do the DH’s ever get it? Do they ever look at their little angel kid and finally see the horrible person that they are? DH sees it, but it only last for a few minutes and them it is forgotten and forgiven.

I know DH ignores most of SS’s issues, but I wonder one day if he will “get it”. He knows that SS is a lying, rude, manipulative, spoilt brat at 17. He just ignores it.

How do you ignore?

Pardon me if I sound like a whiny baby, but I am working off very little sleep and too much booze from the weekend. And no, that is not a normal thing for me. We had out of town guest and it was a great fun weekend, but I am not used to doing that at all. Feel like I could sleep standing up right now and may never want to see beer again.

Anyway. I need to find a way to not let this kid get under my skin so bad! How? How? How?

I disengaged, so I don’t care if he fails, breaks curfew, sleeps around and all that kind of stuff. NMKNMP.

A few weeks ago, SS had a HS dance. BM and DH went to go take pictures of SS at his GF’s house. While there, SS asked to have a picture with BM and DH at the same time. (I was not there)

Let me clarify, that I am ok with this. I can understand him wanting to have a picture of him, and his bio mom and bio dad.

Well, we had an issue this weekend where SS was a butt and I got him in trouble with his dad. My bad. lol

Have you ever...?

I was talking to DH last night and referred to BM as “BM”. I did not call her by her real name, I actually called her BM. LMAO.

DH thought I meant “bowl movement” and thought it was hilarious nick name. I didn’t have the heart to tell him it is how we refer the ex’s on an internet site?

I have almost called SS a skid and caught myself. Anyone ever do this?
