esmod's chicken coup story got me thinking and smiling, so why dont we share our stories of when you knew your man was The One?

i knew immediately w/ dh, as did he. so we were inseperable from the day we met. it may be TMI, but i dont wear pj's. i dont wear anything to bed. also, since i was a child, i have always chugged milk straight from the milkjug. dont judge, a'ight? Wink

last night with dh was lovely. we both have things to improve on.

kaos' friend was over for a few hours, helping with some things out in the yard. we were all chatting. one of them brings up the movie american sniper, and kaos asks "did they ever catch the guy?" dh-"of course they did!" "well some people get away with murder. i will..." (he made that last statement very quietly, i dont know if his friend or dh even heard.)

that. was. creepy...

looking for ideas. as ya'll know, dh and i have had a lot going on. we've gotten emotionally distant, which is very painful. my needs are being neglected by the one person i care most about in the whole world, and he is so depressed and defensive and emotionally exhausted he doesnt even want to wake up each day.

i'm crying all over again now, sheesh...

my dear sweet strong amazingly wonderful husband totally broke down last night. it was so sad. right before i got home he had gotten a call from the doctor. when i pulled up he was sitting on the front steps with his head in his hands.

Thers no question i love my dh with all my heart and soul. When i think about later years i cant picture anything but us on a porch-swing.

But its been 8 years so far. And not a g. d. thing has changed. I dont know if i can hold out another 6-8 years. I see us and our future, but in the interum??? Its just blurry...... *sobs*
