Who Does This?

Posts EXTREMELY unflattering photos of themselves on social media?  Occasionally I stalk the feral's social media posts because I'm still trying to casually figure out if the HousesHitter YSS20, has moved out of mommykin's house.  Which would be the FINAL emancipation event and no more CS (CS goes to 21 here).

I must preface this by saying that Chef's feral's are extremely unattractive with the small exception of SD who looks the most like Chef.  The boys are bone ugly Girhippo through-and-through.

On Pumpkinhead's (OSS26) social media there is a profile photo of him in an enormous horse laugh showing all his decrepit teeth that he never took care of even when he had braces at 8 years old, eyes squinted shut, head thrown back and photobombing next to him was the expressionless Battleaxe Galactica (Girhippo's BM) who has Alzheimer's not even looking at anybody in the photo much less Pumpkinhead.

Incredibly weird and cringey.  It was almost as though he was making fun of his grandmother.  WTF??!

Not to mention the fish lips selfies.

My two oldest SD's (21 and 19) are the same. They aren't unattractive natuarally, but they just don't care to take any care of their hygeine, wear clean clothes, eat right, or see the dentist/doctor when needed. SD21 sent us a picture of her at her aunt's baby shower. She had dirty, stringy hair, a dirty t shirt, wore white socks with black NIke flip flops, and looked fat, pale, and blotchy. Her sister will put on a dress and wash her hair for a special occasion, but otherwise doesn't bathe or wash her hair except maybe once a week. She refuses to eat anything but carbs, meat, fat and sugar, and won't go to the dentist or doctor. She has a greenish tint to her skin due to being very anemic.

Thankfully, the youngest SD17 cares about her appearance, and understands that no one is going to hire her if she can't learn to brush her hair or take a shower. She is very pretty. (The other 2 are pretty when they make an effort.) So, apparently being a slob runs in the family genetics. It just makes me wonder....why? When I sweat too much for one day I feel so gross and stinky that I want to take a bath. Why don't they?

Think twisted mouths, scrunched up faces, sticking out of tongue, anything to distort the face into what they think is funny. They had DH doing this crap when I met him. I was shocked the first time I saw him and his kids doing it. It was at Christmas where I always get good pics of friends and family at our gathering. These idiots are screaming, "Let's do a crazy pic!"  Ummm...let's do a nice pic first, please. Then me and my two kids hurriedly headed the other direction. I told DH, "do you enjoy their gazillion friends seeing you in such an ugly way? I mean, would you want that framed and on the bookshelf???" He quickly stopped entertaining them with those kinds of pics. SMH

DH's kids have always been desperate for attention and have done some incredulous things to make you look at them. His oldest still have a video on YouTube where he gets a girlfriend to help him light his fart on fire. He did  that one when he was 29 years old. And at 42, he's still doing his facial contortion tricks. Again...SMH.

Pics and look so unkempt, so messy and odd like he was the only person effing up our family pics. My sil's would immediately tell him off to look decent that he was embarrassing everyone.

sd's were all into the gangsta peace sign freestyle pics. Me and hubby along with our 2 kids always did our own individual separate pics. Hubbys profile pics for facebook or WhatsApp was always our 2 kids, his kids from exwife are not to be seen there in profile pics, because they are replicas of their mum and look like her

i avoid pics with skids especially sd's as they always dress goth just when i'm there like a sign they're depressed that daddy married me and had 2 kids with me.

when me and our kids aren't there, surprise surprise sd's are dressed in colour, smiling, vibrant etc. i told hubby it was so intentional and frankly I wasn't gonna have our getaways, holidays and outing screwed up by them

They don't think it's unflattering though. They think they look gorgeous. People who present themselves in this terrible manner don't really see themselves the way the world sees them

Wore shorts and flip flops to their "graduation" ceremony.   So graduation robes barely covering their shorts and flip flops.  You could definitely tell they were wearing them in the photos they took.  Looked incongruous.  And this is upstate New York not a tropical climate.

I say graduation in quotation marks because they barely did any work at all and were merely passed through the system, especially YSS who did nothing during COVID.  Never logged in once.

The most mind boggling example I have personally widnessed was when my BIL1's bride wore fuzzy blue bedroom slippers under her wedding dress when they married. A formal church wedding... in fuzzy bedroom slippers. Really.

Nea

My assumption all these years has been that she could not get her feet in her shoes.  My DW advised her SILs ( 2) and her own sister to have a pair of wedding appropriate ballet slippers ready in case of shoe issues on the wedding day.

Nope.  Not one of them took her advice. For sure not this SIL. So, fuzzy blue slippers are immortalized in their wedding pics.

It's not that unusual actually. My youngest, who is very attractive if I do say so myself, makes the ugliest faces in pictures sometimes. So do his friends. He will pose nicely for me, but we always get 2 or 3 pictures that are hideous. My Mom who is 77, absolutely hates it and will give him a warning before pictures, which of course makes him want to do at least one.

It's their anti picture face, their rebellion if you will against perfect photoshopped pictures. They will also "pose", like a hand under the chin, or looking up and away. Think family pictures from Sears. Those ones I find funny because we have family pictures like that.
