Received Warning from SD on her blog

Sweetie's picture

Funny thing, actually I think it's almost humorous...was just briefly checking on recent blog entries from SD. I had sent a letter to biomom with a check and let her know some information about SD's drug and alcohol usage. SD has posted on her blog if anyone knew that she had been drinking or using anyone else's prescriptions? She wrote on there, she would definitely not do a thing like that. I guess, I'll have to send copies of this stuff to her mother by certified mail to make sure that her mother sees it.

Time Marches On

Sweetie's picture

Well, time continues to march on and the days pass by, each with more intense heat than the one before. Or at least, so it seems to me. It's been well over a month, and I haven't heard a peep from SS....it still bothers me. And SD's comment that her Dad is MIA--don't you think that something would click in her head--after this time--there's a reason your Dad hasn't spoken to you? Duh??? But then, biomom, has told SD she hasn't done anything to apologize for.

Flare Ups

Sweetie's picture

Well, I am looking at my hands again, and my body is starting to quit on me again. I am getting another active flare up of dermatitis going on both hands again. It never quite completely cleared up, and just basically relapsed and started again. The hot climate here hasn't helped. It has been well into the 90's all week and will remain so indefinitely. I was finally able to get white cotton gloves ordered for my hands and they should be delivered today. It took me quite some time to locate them and get them ordered.

Calming Down

Today was more calming and I was able to get a couple of things taken care of for Father's Day. I got a couple of cards in the mail for my Dad and also bought one for my husband. I don't expect that he will hear from either of my SK. But I went ahead and decided to combine his Father's Day and Birthday gift (which is next month) and let him pick out a DVD/VHS recorder as he has been wanting a DVD recorder. Since there was only a difference of about $35, I figured why not just get him something a little nicer.

Fright Night Here

Sweetie's picture

If you ever think you've since something go from bad to worse, my husband can ruin a night in a matter of 5 minutes. Last night was fright night here. I had been home all day with the dogs, and two of them had been under the weather, anyways. But although frustrated, I tried to pull myself together so I wouldn't need much from husband. Sometimes it seems like if I'm asking for a matter of thirty to myself, you would think I was asking for the moon. I finished all the chores last night, and even packed up and made my husband's mexican fajita wraps for lunch today.

DH Clarifies His Final Position about SD

Sweetie's picture

Well, with all the back and forth with my SD's biomom, and the mess of her life, lifestyle, living arrangements, and what a total mess my SD is, tonight my DH made his position crystal clear that he could care less if he never saw SD again. Life is too short to have gone through all this grief. SD tries to irriate my DH but she will not generate a response from him anymore. He has not only washed his hands of her, but basically marked her off. Like dead. DH says that biomom is a twisted wench, and SD is such a mess, and should know better.

SD Is still rebelling but we aren't interested

Sweetie's picture

It has been an interesting weekend here in hot GA to say the least. We got over 6 inches of rain Saturday. Yikes! You could float. I previously wrote that I had gotten a note from my SD biomom last week. I knew she was away from work from 5/31-7/15. But I looked today at my SD old xanga blog, cause I knew biomom, wouldn't be gone long, before SD started writing again. SD is making smart comments about my DH being MIA. He isn't MIA, just doesn't want to deal with her, biomom, and anything from the situation at all.

How do you suddenly develop allergy to Peanuts?

Sweetie's picture

Okay,
I've got a really curious question, how can you suddenly after years of eating billions of PB&J sandwiches suddenly as a 17 yr old develop an "allergic" reaction and get welts on one side of your face? Doesn't that seem strange? My SD is one heck of a drama diva. She is now going around with an epipen and convinced biomom she's allergic to peanuts. Pretty strange, when every summer I sent her to PB&J sandwiches to summer camp. It sounds more like a shellfish allergy or getting into somekind of drugs or alcohol experimentation to me.

Never Get A Break

Sweetie's picture

Well, I had my scheduled meeting with the county property assessor's office. My husband and I didn't expect a break--and we didn't get one. There are some major issues in the county for where we are located about collecting on old taxes for monies that should have been collected and now they are trying to play catch up. So, people in our housing price bracket are the ones penalized. I couldn't understand how in 4 months, our land value increased over $6K. Well, it wasn't the land, it was the $7K in improvements we had done, fencing and a secondary access road.
