a cranky day

I just got back from buying some things for my 2 bs. Yesterday dh bought a case of top ramen and a case of water for the kids and ss15 ate and drank it ALL during the night (like he's in a compatition to not let my boys have any, but my boys don't give a rats ass b/c that's not how they are). So this morning I went out and bought a few things for my boys and put it into their rooms for them. I never do this, I always buy fairly and equally and so does DH, but I got my panties in a bunch this morning and said to hell with ss15, I am going to spoil my boys for a change.

Before I left I texted dh and told him that his dog and his son are going to get taken back to the pound today b/c I have had it. (sometimes I WISH we could just take skids back to the pound - lol). DH just lets me vent and listens and empathizes and then yup, tells me things I wanna hear but are just like eating empty calories, just make my head fat and that's about it. lol No really, he tries and it's not his fault ever how his kid is, it's just my reaction to this kid AND the dog.

Thanks for letting me vent. Oiy.

Holy crap!!! That's insane (abt your SS) eating all that!!! Insane!!! & utterly rediculous!! We've had SSs for 2 wks now. On Vaca for the 1st week then home here for a week. They go hm tommarow.. Woot woot!! But on Monday- yes Monday- we spent $200 in groceries for the house. Almost everything is gone now. G. O. N. E!!! It's insane!!!

Hope my DH realizes he will be doing another 200 in groceries again this weekend-- it's me, DH & my DD8 here full time & the new set of groceries will last weeks!!!! It totally annoys me. They are hogs & very wasteful and frankly ungrateful!!!! I feel your pain!!!

Well we spend about 800 on groceries a month from the groc store, then we buy pizza about twice amonth and that's about 50 and then we take boys out to McD's once in awhile and that's about 50 plus little extras here and there so I can safely say we spend about 1,000 on groc every month and that is AFTER ss18 moved out. When he was here it was more like 1400. Yup, they eat SOOOOO much, luckily now the boys we have still in the home don't waste much at all. Ss18 would prepare food, dislike it and hide it and he wasted probably about 2-300 a month. Oh well, I guess I can safely say also that once the boys move out DH and I are going to get more well off financially!!
PS, we spend alot and buy a lot but non of us are over weight. My boys are both over 6 feet tall and only 140 - 160 lbs, ss15 is over 6 feet and about 180, DH and I are average so I'm not sure if the money we spend on food is average or not. We rarely eat out.
