I go to the laundry room today to get my laundry going since I have a full work week ahead. No Tide, no Downy Sad Yesterday I heard ss doing laundry which is good but he used a NEW downy and an almost new 80 load bottle of tide. WTF? Then instead of letting meknow it's gone he puts the bottles back like they still have anything in them, I guess hoping to delay me noticing? Now I have to run to the store FIRST. UHG. Oh and he threw his heavy comforter out on the porch (I guess to air it out? cuz it's too big for the machine) and it rained on it last night and now it's this big heavy wet stinky blanket. I told DH and he got so angry but he blames me for not making sure it was hung up under the carport? I don't know, dh had chemo yesterday so he's not able to take care of the issues at hand (as usual I cannot disengage) so I guess it's going to the laundromat also to eat up a good portion of my day off Sad

Your SS chose to put his comforter outside, and so he needs to be responsible for that choice. I wouldn't touch the comforter. When SS comes home and wants his comforter, you can kindly tell him that you remember seeing it outside. Period. No yelling, no complaining - try to disengage. If you swoop in to fix the situation, you are denying SS from learning from his poor choice, which will hurt him greatly when he goes out into the world. And buy your own bottle of detergent to keep in your bedroom where no one else can use it Smile

I can't even begin to tell you how pissed off I get when I find empty shit in my house.

The other day, BS3 wanted oatmeal I go to get a package out of the box and there's no package.. just a freaking empty box. Really? So of course because I've been seeing the box, I've assumed there is still oatmeal and haven't gotten any at the store, so now BS is annoyed because he's 3 and he wanted oatmeal and I'm annoyed because SD is 15 and such a lazy moron that she can't throw the empty box out so I know to get more oatmeal. ARGHHHHHHH!

.. and it happens all.the.time! It's just flat out lazy and I don't do lazy

Like hell.

If SS can't take it himself, then drop his butt off at laundry mat and let HIM wash and dry HIS own blanket. Why on earth would you do it?

Actually not going to laundromat - told ss to lay the comforter in the sun for the day and use it as is. I HAVE to disengage on this one b/c I am so NOT going to have that stink in my car or even the trunk. Phew! Let the bugs enjoy a damp warm place for the day! lol
