 Let's hope that the love goes to the SM and not only to the sainted skids. Dont get me wrong , loving your kids is a natural feeling. Whats not natural is when daddio loves his mini wife the best. Daddio gives his mini wife a more expensive bouquet of flowers, or chocolates than his wife. Nothing like fond memories, thank gawd thats in the past for me.

Remember ladies love yourself first and pamper yourself. I am sure many have wonderful DH's that spoil you, and you deserve it. For the unfortunate ones like I was, call him out on it if he out valentines his mini wife over you. Use phrases like "well thats creepy" or "nothing like valentines to make the emotional incest shine" LOL

I am buying myself roses, drinking a glass of wine or THREE and reminding myself that I am OK. Hope Y'all pamper yourself, or be pampered.

Happily, SD14 Munchkin is with her "mommie" on that particular day, so whatever happens I wont have to deal with Toxic Troll (hopefully).

My first Valentine's day as a wife was a pain, I bought my DH a little present and I already had plans at home for us, he arrived super late at home because he went visit his SD and give her a present because "was an important day for her" and we din't hace time to even have dinner, I just hate Valentine's day since then. WHY do they do that? please someone give me an explanation..... But yes I should buy myself some chocolates I deserve them

I do not blame you. My ex ruined every fricking holiday for me. I came second to the snotty SD. As I said above if he pulls shit like that "oh you are late, kind a creepy dont ya think? "  

They do this because they are f*cked in the head. They place their daughters first because of guilt and they are scared of losing them. You can do better. Heck buy yourself some bling on his credit card. Pamper yourself on his dime.

YES YES YES! I totally agree with you they do that because they feel guilty and scared of losing them, I think my husband in her dumb mind think how I will give somthing to my wife ad not to my daughter.... I don't know who is more inmature in this situation my DH or SD, and yes I've been second on christmas too, but girl I earn my own money so I can buy me special things <3

I think that's gross.  Valentines Day is not 'special' for fathers and daughters at all.

I already know he's gotten something for me as I saw him scurrying upstairs with some packages.  I got him a sweet card and will make his favorites for dinner.

I don't expect Bratty to be a factor as he doesn't usually acknowledge her on Valentine's Day.

Happy Valentines Day stalkers, I enjoy the holiday for the chocolate covered strawberries and the little romantic gift, but neither DH nor I go all out.

I have no interest in Valentine's Day, personally, I don't know that we will do anything at all. 

A couple years in a row, he's gone ice fishing with his buddy on Valentine's Day, so we joke that his buddy is his Valentine, lol. Not this year, so maybe we will get take-out or something.

I'm really not romantic. Couldn't care less.

I realize looking back that I always felt like I had to perform romance for my ex, so it was tiresome. Now I find it a ton of fun and delightful because I'm in love. We already did our couple V-Day since we have the kids this weekend, and it was fun and loving and a really good night.
