Sd15 and the hairbrush

Do the rest of you regularly (or semi-regularly) go through your steppies cell phone? I do it with SDs, whenever I feel like it. Boy did I find some pretty pictures today! :jawdrop: :sick: :sick: :sick:

Today's pictures featured Sd15 (in some VERY unflattering poses) and my hairbrush! YEP! MY STINKING HAIRBRUSH! Ick, ick, ick!!!!

I was on the phone with Hubby when I started to go through the phone.. and at first, when I saw a pic (was not SD, but of some random boy SHE'S NEVER EVEN MET) I told Hubby he would want to look through the phone. I wound up calling him back and told him he didn't want to look. THAT is way more info then he wants from his daughter.

Yeah.. my hairbrush is her new boyfriend! :sick:

AND Hubby is driving his work truck, which we don't use for personal errands.. so I am without a hairbrush until tomorrow when we get the car back. Looks like I'm going to have a VERY messy bun in the morning! and I can't leave my hairbrush in the bathroom anymore!

EWWWWW. Kids are so effing weird! BUT....I have you beat.....
SD is notorious for snooping through my stuff and when SD was about 11-12 she was at our house and I was out for the day and SO had fallen asleep on the couch. I came home and noticed that our night stand drawer was open slightly. I opened it up and well...there was something missing....Went into SD's room and opened up her drawer and there it was!!! And i'm not going into details without making people puke but it did NOT look clean and there was bite marks in it. Oh and the next day after we took her home, BM texted to tell us that SD had stolen my underwear and taken it home.

OMG I know! I would never have even thought of that when I was that age!! Then again I had respect for my parents and would never snoop through their things.
Kids are weird now a days. Lock up your shit! LOL

If my SD is any indication, you need to lock up anything that is anywhere near that size/shape! Sad

my hairbrush stays in my bathroom basket - all my personal items for daily use get carried in with me, then locked in my bedroom for the day. not that skids would do THAT with it, i'm just funny about PERSONAL used items....

that's just - EWWW.

Oh! SD was taking these pictures of herself to sext with random STRANGERS on KIK! She also sent out (fully clothed) pictures of her little sister and baby cousin to these nice strangers!

Oooohh those pictures (of sister & cousin) are even worse... she could be getting herself AND them into danger! (worse than just being gross!)

Smellisa: "Hello"

Sd15: *panting heavily*

Smellisa: "Hello? Who is this?"

Sd15: "Have you checked the hairbrush?"

This creeps me out, because when Sd15 moved in, she used to "flirt" with me. She finally made me so uncomfortable that I made her stop..

I don't REALLY think that Sd15 used my hairbrush as some kind of fixation thing. I think it was the only hairbrush on the bathroom counter. BUT you never know

Both SDs live with me full time, and we are doing our best at pretending that we are a nuclear family. (That's why I don't post so much anymore.) I also have a fear that if I start locking up these things, I will find kitchen spoons missing or something

Yeah.. why couldn't she at least take her hairbrush in the bathroom with her? I've bought her three of them

AiviaMill, almost. SD15 took her phone into the bathroom, and did a lot more then brush down there.. She used the handle as a vibrator.

Then, she walked into the living room with her phone in hand. I put my hand out and said something like "spot check". She handed me the phone, and I searched for banned applications. Once I found one, I started going through it. She knows I looked through it, because she sat right here in the chair and watched me look through it!

My DH knew, when SD15 came back into our lives that he was suddenly dealing with a teenager. He doesn't get the luxury of hiding his head in the sand. We're the only two parents this kid has, and I'm NOT dealing with this alone!

I would totally be okay, if I thought she was having a little fun with her own hairbrush on her own. I'm not okay knowing she is taking pictures of herself and my hairbrush and sending them to eight different random strangers!

We have a VERY small house and one bathroom. Often, one of the SDs will be in the shower, one using one mirror for makeup and me using a third to curl my hair. We have little room and less privacy!

My SDs don't get to lock me out of their cell phones. I bought the phones, I pay the bills, and I am allowed to go through their phones at any time. If I wake them up to get their phones, they better hand them over!
