Today is BM's birthday, and mine is on Saturday. SD12 KNOWS it is BM's birthday (both SDs do, actually), but does not give one crap about it. HOWEVER, she has been talking about my birthday for the last eight days!

Every single day, SD has been doing a countdown. Yesterday, it was because Hubby was going to the store, "Don't let him forget the brownies!". (We make brownies for breakfast on Birthdays, and SD12 is excited to make mine! LOL)

Today, it was "Are you excited for Saturday?" I said "No, what's Saturday?" SD12 told me, "It's your birthday, and I'm excited!"

If anyone remembers, every year before last, when it was my birthday, SD12 through a major tantrum! One year, she put holes in the wall, and scratched the paint off! Last year, she was able to be calm, but it wasn't like this! LOL

The kid is more excited then I am.. some of the gems she has said this week

"What do you want for your birthday? Okay! What else?"
"Dad, don't forget to give me money for Mom's birthday!"
"Do you want me to make your birthday present today?"
"I'll make you homemade donuts for breakfast on your birthday, but we will still have brownies instead of cake!"
"I wish Aunt Kim wasn't taking you out the day before your birthday! I will miss you!"
"You don't have to clean AT ALL on your birthday - that's part of your present, to!"

I know it doesn't sound like much, but OH THE PROGRESS!
