BM actually gave in to the tax return!! I am surprised! She agreed to let fiancee claim FSS every other year...I wonder if she's feeling ok? Wink

Make sure he gets the form from her from the IRS. The form proves its okay and she knows not to claim the child.

Its great but if the child lives with less than 50% of the time, BF cannot file head of household. Also cannot claim earned income credit, child tax credit, etc. Dad only gets the exemption if less than 50& custody.

Good for you!!

or better yet get your attorney to drawn it up and have her sign. It would be very easy for her to go back on her word and then you would have the two of them both claiming the child. Someone will be repaying the IRS and it would probably be your BF if not properly documented.

My ex and I do the every other year thing as well. But it is part of our divorce decree. He had the nerve to ask me anyway if he could claim HOH anyway on my year - to benefit him of course. I said no freakin' way. There's a court order dumbass!
