SO keep signing me up for 'mommy' things
Even though I have told him that I don't want to be involved with kids that i legally can't make choices for. Me going to the school to meet with teachers and talk about my feelings is not going to make their mother (the person that does get to make choices for them) any less of a selfish idiot that thinks the world revolves around SS4!
I will make them dinner and I will help baby sit but that is it. Also I refuse to take orders from a 4 year old That is my right, period. I am their friend and caregiver, not their mother.
He called me to tell me that he wanted me to go with him (if he can get off work) to the school Friday after noon with BM and SS4 to meet with his new teacher (pre-k) and see the classroom. Um yeah - really don't care. Especially since it will be at least 30 mins of BM telling everyone how bad SS4 is (even though he is not that bad) and me wanting to gag at the sound of her voice. Yeah so not going.
Sorry for 2 posts in one day, this just happened and I needed to vent.

I feel the same way. and when I say something about that DH gets mad at and says that's how you feel about SS5

Don't go to the school. It's better to set a precedent of not being involved in any of these "parent" things, you will get yourself into deep water. Just refuse and tell your SO it's not really your place. I confine myself to giving my DH my view on matters relating to SD16 and SD14 but I never go to any of these type of things.
