Go figure...

As some of you may recall from a previous blog we recently got a new (rescue) puppy.  This was during SD's MRSA and concussion shit show so I didn't allow SD to play with the new puppy.  You know as a precaution due to her infectious disease and her SEVERE concussion.  Well about 3-4 days ago BM had to have her dog put down which is only sad b/c of the dog.  I don't care about BM's feelings. Last night SD had her first visit with us in over a week because I was sick.  Of course BM will keep SD if any of us are sick but send her if she is sick.

Anyways, SD was in her room when I got home (YAY) but then comes out all super over the top excited on speakerphone with BM showing us all these pics of her new puppy that BM "surprised" her with.  BM couldn't wait until pick up to surprise her I guess....so of course SD wants to go back early (which I am cool with).  Just another typical BM move to make sure SD is more excited to be with her than us and then when convenient tell DH what a bad dad he is.  Oh and also go figure the new puppy is some expensive pure breed Australian cattle dog.  Funny, our rescue is an Australian cattle dog...I'm sure that is just a coincidence though, right?!? LOL!

There is a funny part to this story though.  I guess a few days ago SD found a different puppy she wanted online that was $700 and kept begging and pestering BM to buy it.  According to SD the site looked totally legit.  BM proceeds to "purchase" this puppy online without talking to anyone or seeing the dog/etc.  Then BM gets pissed at SD because it was a total scam and BM lost $700 and refuses to report it because she doesn't want to look dumb!  LOL!  WOW!  That had to be a blow to BM's overly inflated ego.  This is the woman that constantly brags about how smart she is because she has TWO degrees.  That is why she is better than us Wink

Ha HAHAHAHA ha Ha!

This shouldn't please me as much as it does. However, your sd and bm seriously annoy and disgust me.

Still waiting on her to get corona, even though the test is negative...

Simpleton21's picture

LOL, they seriously annoy and disgust me too!  I was also very amused by the story.  Especially BM getting mad at SD for not making sure it was legit...really?!?! SD is 12 and an idiot....you're the adult!!!

Ha, you know that is exactly how it would go.  "SD can't visit she has corona but the test is negative we're going to pay for more test to make sure. Also make sure she is in PT for her lungs b/c you know with her "sports induced asthma" she is at a greater risk".  The only reason I don't think this will actually happen is b/c schools and sports are closed.  If schools and sports were still in session SD would have the worst case of corona virus yet!

Well SteppedOut....she has TWO degrees!  I'm sure she will be able to come up with the best alternative because she is so smart OBVIOUSLY *ROFL*

Oh great now that puppy will nip SD and she can start her rabies treatments, I just pray BM doesn't put that poor defenseless dog down for being a puppy.

Simpleton21's picture

LMAO, oh shit, I didn't think about rabies!  You're right!  Maybe I should caution SD and BM against the risks of SD getting rabies from the new defenseless puppy!

Maybe tell them that the vaccination is very painful and requires à séries of injections un the abdomen...

Winterglow, have you read about my SD's "injuries"....a series of injections to the abdomen would give her so much sympathy and attention she would fake just to get this done!

That's quite the breed to own. They need lots of training and interaction to keep them out of trouble. Can't help but laugh at the knowledge your BM bought a dog smarter than her!!

Simpleton21's picture

LMAO, I'm pretty sure that most dogs, even mutts, are more intelligent than BM and SD!!!!

We got the Australian Cattle mix/mutt because we have another high energy dog.  It has been going well for us.  The dogs get along great and play all day.  BM and SD don't have any other animals.  I'm sure that BM and SD won't be putting the actual time in to train and interact with this puppy once it grows past the "cute" stage to them....

Last Friday, Friday 13th actually, Munchkin told me that her mother, Toxic Troll, and her were at Wallmart getting prepared for the new puppy. Im like WHAT? A new puppy in a 1-bedroom apartment that only has a little backyard patio!!!

Let the chit show begin.

And its a husky-samoyed mix. Very cute, very smart - and its pooping and peeing everywhere. And doesnt poop outside at all!!!!! LOL.

Apparently Munchkin cant go to the bathroom eve, because whining and howling begin.

DH told Munchkin verys strongly that if anything were to happen that we would definitely NOT be taking care of her dog. BM was evicted from her previous apartment and Munchkins rabbit went to SIL (I did not like this at all, but not in my control, SIL can do her own thing)

Luckily (?) with this lockdown and school closure, Munchkin can work with training her puppy.

BUT Im just like - ok, what about 4 years from now, when she wants to go away to college? What if Troll gets evicted again? What if Troll runs out of money? What if Troll goes on a trip somewhere without Munchkin? What if she finally takes Munchkin with her on a trip?

Simpleton21's picture

I remember reading your blog about this.  Toxic Troll is such an IDIOT!!!! That is definitely not a breed of dog that should be couped up in a small 1 bedroom apartment.  Also, Toxic Troll can't even take care of herself or her children but she goes and gets a dog!  Ugh!

I feel bad for Munchkin. I'm sure it will be an issue in less than 4 years.

700 bucks...Holy Cow

She is a double ding bat for not reporting this.

Simpleton21's picture

Yep, but she doesn't want to "look dumb" lol!  Instead she went and spent another $400 on a different puppy.  Must be nice to have $1100 to blow on dogs.  My rescue dogs are a much better deal Wink

1st- she's a dumbo for thinking ANY legitimate Bulldog costs $700

2nd- she's dumb because she does NO research on breeds-obvious from switch Bulldog to ACD...wth?

I won't judge on getting too soon after death of her other pet, but in her case yeah actually, I will.  Doesn't sound thought out at all!!! Impulse buy for impulse crap owners it sounds like.

When my Boston was about 8 yrs old we had made the decision to get a Weimaraner to add to the family. We wanted to have a high enery/hunting breed to grow with and learn hunt sports.  We did a 1.5 yrs of research and breeder searching to find the most reputable breeder with dual champions (show/hunt) .  When the perfect parent match was bred, our breeder let us know.  She was due in Sept.  We were stoked to add a new dog to the family.  Unfortunatley our Boston got quick very soon, they suspected a brain aneurysm and we lost her with in 2 days literally the week after the Weim pups were born.  We decided after much thought and grief to continue with our plan.  I haven't regretted it for a minute.  He certainly helped with our grief tremendously.

I agree 100% banana!  BM was impluse, possession, accessory and 1 up buying....remember we just got our ACD/mix not that long ago...BM obviously didn't put any thought into this.  She let SD do all the thinking/planning/plotting and got scammed b/c she tried to buy a dog online that her 12 year old found and was "pestering" her to buy.

Your situation is completely different.  You had put so much thought into it and the breed and breeder/etc.  Weimaraners are beautiful dogs!  My friend had one named Stella.  She was so awesome!!!

show up in a rascal?  On shoe size, Chef and the Gir wore the same size shoe!

Simpleton21's picture

OMG, LMAO, Munchausetta, I love it!!  I'm using that from now on! I'm pretty sure BM's feet are close to DH's feet.
