Hi everyone! 

So we have full custody of SD12. She has been with us since 2019. She will be spending this entire summer with her Mother in Georgia and I am literally counting down the days! I need a break from this feeling I feel when she's around. It's hard to explain it but I am sure most of you know the feeling I am talking about! It's been a long year of being stuck in the house always asking us to do things or just interrupting conversations and the weird thing she does when she stands at our door and doesn't say anything. She's actually leaving at the end of May and her birthday is in June when she will be turning 13. She asked if we would come out for her birthday and I said no. At this point I'm over the parties. Have a sleepover or something with your friends and be done with it. I'm not flying from California to Georgia for a party I don't want to be at, but my DH keeps saying that he never misses a birthday. Well... bye!  My DH and I also have a 6 year old who I know will miss her but at this point I can't WAIT for the break! Tired of feel like I have to run things by her to make sure it's ok or wondering what her mother is going to say (cause she always has something to say!) about anything we do. Anyway, just had to get that off of my chest! *ROFL*
