So irritated, I'm opening the wine NOW.

I usually don't have complaints with SO when it comes to his kids. He sees them for what they are, he's not in denial. He probably gives them less credit than I do.

But today he asked me if SD21 had contacted me anymore, and I told him no.

I told him that I really felt like she wanted me to apologize, too, but, I really don't feel like I should have to apologize to her for telling her that she was not going to disrespect her father in my house. He agreed that he felt I had nothing to apologize for.

I talked a little while longer about my feelings, and then asked him what he thought. He said, "I'm scared to even say what I think and feel because you get so offended when I try to talk to you about SD21." Huh??? Wtf???

So, then, yes, I got offended. He said I was just proving his point, but damn, he just insulted me before even trying to talk to me. He didn't even give me a chance.

I may disagree with him sometimes on the topic of his kids, but I don't view that as a "fight"...we can disagree without fighting.

This probably doesn't even make sense, I just need to vent. And drink. And cry. I wish some of you girls lived closer so you could have a glass with me.

SD isn't even here, and still the root of our problems. Just the mention of her name....

My SO does the same, instead of talking things out, he assumes how I will react so he goes straight for the punishment (which is normally just avoiding me), then makes me feel like it's all my fault! It's crazy!

Wine becomes my bff when that happens too lol psst, I'm a big fan a Moscato too Wink )

And am I wrong, but THAT'S enough to make us defensive! I told him I wasn't offended because of anything he could say about SD, so his point was moot. Right?

ohhhhh....I like Merlot, but I've never had White Merlot. Interesting. Where I live Muscadine wine is HUGE. VERY sweet. But I like ALL WINE! lol!
