Update on Just.his.wife

Her DH called me.

She has a few broken ribs, a concussion, and a hairline fracture of the pelvis. No internal bleeding, no surgery necessary at this point. She is being admitted for pain management and observation but he is saying she should be discharged 'at some point' tomorrow or Sunday at the latest.

Lesson for the day. Always wear your seat belt. It may have caused her broken ribs, but she was not ejected from the vehicle.

To keep my "boss of the year" title. I already filled out and filed her FMLA paperwork.

Thanks for the update, I've had several bad to severe accidents affect my own coworkers this week and as an EMT my brain starts running with all the "possibles"
Glad it's not worse and she had her seatbelt on, and glad she has you for a boss work being one less thing to worry about means she can heal faster and get back to normal
