Oh MY GOSH.  I can't believe this just happened.  We made dinner tonight.  Saturday night is dad's night to grill. He can grill whatever he wants.  Tonight he choose hamburgers.  He put them on the grill , told SS "burgers going on the grill."   Grilled them and then took them off, he went down and told SS that the burgers were ready.

Overall pretty good day yesterday.  His dad took him to get re-enrolled in school.  Of course he'll have to follow up on Monday on his own and talk with a counselor to set his schedule.   He'll be on his own as his dad and I both work so he'll have to get himself up , ready and to the school.  Since his car is still out of order, he'll have to take his dad's car.  Something he doesn't seem to want to do.  So we'll see.  He is motivated by the gaming league to return to school, so he'll probably go.  It'll be a long semster so we'll see how it goes in terms of attendance.

Well interesting thing happened last night.    About two weeks ago my parents visited for Christmas.   The evening they arrived they took me, DH, DD and SS out to dinner.   SS rolled his eyes and made a comment about my DD and myself riding back to the house with him and his father.  Needless to say my mother didn't feel comfortable about us riding with him in particular.  I didn't see or hear it but mentioned it to my DH.    Last night he came up about his usual time of 8:30 to make dinner for himself .  He talked with his dad briefly then mumbled something in the general direction of his

Well almost afraid to post but decided to start a blog.   Hey new year , new journey and hopefully family harmony.   I had posted in the forum about the situation with my stepson, needless to say  it took on a life of its own.   My post was about how my stepson hasn't joined us as a family for about five months for dinner except occasionally.   He has a tendency to come up after be it ten minutes or a couple of hours after we finish eating.    He also had a tendency to either be asleep or gaming in his room.   Currently he has been out of school since the beginning of October but plans to r
