The skids are supposed to be with BM this week. SS10 needed a ride to karate, so I told BM I would take him. He decided this meant that he could come here 2 hours early and "spend time with us". I was tempted to have a fit, but I found I didn't need to. DH immediately said to SS10 "That's fine if you're here, but we're going to act like you're not because it's your mom's week." We proceeded as we usually do when he's not here. We even got to take a nap uninterrupted. SS10 was very compliant to DH's comment and pleasant to be around. Overall, a nice time today. Wish it could be this nice when they are here....
