just got back from camping

And I couldn't be happier with FDH. SD7 was terrible the entire time, well, her usual self anyway, but for some reason in front of so many people his eyes seemed to really open. Over and over again he had to stop her from bullying the other kids.

Thank whatever you may believe in, I'm no longer the SM that just hates his kid. He finally had a come to Jesus moment over her bullying, complaining, laziness, greediness, and lying. All he ended up doing the whole trip was yell at her and he's sick of it. He had to actually spend time with her and realized what a little asshole she is.

Bios were at summer camp last week, dh actually made a comment along the lines of being forced to play with sd because bios we're gone.

I can honestly say I lost a little respect for him that it's a "burden" to spend time with your own child. (Granted I wouldn't want to spend one on one with her either but I don't have biology telling me I do)

Hmm. It amazes me that statements like that don't make these guys say "hey. My kids such a jerk I don't want to spend time with them. I better do something about that". But no.

SD is so lazy. She wanted a bottle of water but wanted daddeeee to get it for her. The thing is she was sitting right next to the cooler and all she had to so was open the lid and grab one. Just one example of how she treats adults like her personal servants. I mean FFS she's seven and still asks FDH to wipe her mouth off after eating and to put her shoes on for her. These all are not tricky things to accomplish.

She only got this way because people trained her to be like this. If 'someone' had never taught her this was OK she wouldn't do it.

I will not pander to little ones. I would have taken the girl into the woods and told her to knock off the crap and be nice or she will find herself fed to bears.
