AARGH! SD16 tries oh so hard to get my goat again today. Last time was 4 months ago, which we ended up shipping to BM to have a try being FT mom for a few months. What a disaster---she failed three classes out of six for final quarter, got more disrespctful to us. One class she failed so miserably the last q (had been getting c/b/d prev) that she failed for the whole year.
So, now she is living with us again, thanks to judge who said permissive parenting is not a good thing, especially for a teen who tends to find trouble.

Now SD wants me to get upset/hurt/etc... so she can't live here. But I stayed calm and cool, just said "i know you don't want to be here" "I don't care that you dont want to have consequences, you are going to anyway". Of course, DH is out of town when this happens---SD always picks when Dad out of town to try to goat my on. But I feel so empowered that I didn't let her. Amazing what having a judge tell you that you are good parents can help you endure. One SM/ Zero SD
