LOLOL, You crack me up SO

I have mentioned a few times on other blogs that I’m leaving Sunday for a month long class in GA.

This class is known to be pretty difficult and is mandatory training for my position.

Because of this, I decided to take Wed-Fri of this week off to relax, spend time with my dogs and pack before my trip.

Yesterday, SO told me he was getting Skids Thursday night. My immediate response was "What, why" He's getting them because he is off and Friday and heaven forbid he doesn't get these kids every time he is off work. Sucks, but I'm used to it. I guess I forgot that he was off on Friday.

So today he text me "U want kids wed and thurs or want time to yourself" Of course, I responded "time to myself". .....I can't believe he even text me that. Because nothing is more relaxing before a stressful trip than babysitting someone else's kids. The whole reason I have to take time of work during the week is because we have your kids every weekend. Duh

Nice try SO.

Why do these men assume that we as stepmothers would ever want to spend one extra or spare millisecond with the skids. Because they have half of dhs dna?

I have bios with my dh, and so I get my fill on a daily basis of taking care of our spawn. Taking care of kids he has thAt have half kraken dna is a no thank you.

I think the problem is that in the past I have always taken a week+ off work and kept his kids during the summer....BUT the more I hear "You hate my kids" the less inclined I am to take them anytime at all.

Oh good lord! *sigh* Although I suppose the bright side is that he ASKED instead of just having them show up!

He's trying to put one-in-the-bank for later so he can say he offered to have the kids but you said no. There will be pouting.

I hate when they ASK if we want them to take the kids extra days. Like there is ever an alternate reality where we'd say YES?
