That way, even if we don't feel like we have anything to add, we could still show support.

Mine does that sometimes. Usually if I just hit the back button a few times my typing will still be there.

I agree that the "Like" button is lazy, but I also think that it has lost some of it's meaning through the years. I find the terms that posters use to "like" a post or reply have variety and nuances:

^^^This^^^, *****^^^^^^^^^THIS^^^^^^^^^^*********, ^^Agree^^, ^^Dup^^, ^^^^OMG This ^^^^^, "Well said," etc.

So, I may not have anything meaningful to add, but I feel free to reinforce comments/replies. Although, I'd hate to see what the board would look like with anonymous "Thumbs Down/Dislike" buttons.

Yes.. Me too. I find that Some of my responses are very simple and really don't add any value wether it's lol or I agree.

Yes! Notifications would be great too!
I wish there was a perfectly private facebook group too but all I can find are public groups and I don't dare post in any of them.

I sent my name to Melody and she added me but then I never got the invite for the group. So. I am still trying to get in.
