Keymaster sticky fingers

This is a short update on the situation with Sticky fingered SS18. So far we were on internet access lock down. He knows what he has to do and how he has to behave in order to eventually get the password to the internet back.

So far he has failed quite miserably. He has been pulling a stunt where he goes to the town to 'get out for a bit' because he knows we are always saying to find something to do with himself, groups, clubs or sports (hates sport as it involves moving). But when he does this he is using a hot spot to to get internet access on his phone. We know this, we are not stupid. He uses the 'but I won't be able to contact you if I don't have my phone. Its all more of his manipulative, lying BS.

But the latest one really shows that the git doesn't want the internet back. I found one of our keys in his coat pocket. Yes, he had stolen the key to the cabinet that his tablet is kept in. This also shows that when we are not here and have locked up the pantry (or would eat ALL the food) and our bedroom or at night when we lock up too as he likes to go down in the wee small hours and do his raids he has gone through all the house to find the keys. It was well hidden. What BS will he come up with to 'explain' that one?

I keep all my creams and my hair conditioner in our bedroom locked up too, as that seems to disappear very fast if not. Make what you will of that, I have a good idea. There are other things too weird to put on here. He is just a weirdo and I want him out of the house asap when school ends. This is not autism this is something else. He has NO conscience.

Is there a way you can disable the internet access on his phone?  Maybe check with your carrier.

The key theft and access of forbidden items is a big thing for me.  I hate a sneak.. a thief.  I will likely give someone the shirt off my back but don't steal it or borrow without permission.

I would change lock and keep any spare keys with you from now on.

yep, going to look into disabling the internet on his phone. Also the keys have all been gathered up by me and will be locked up in our room. Comes to something when you have to lock up keys. He is on a last chance and seems to not give a fig.

What a little D*ck. I remember having to live like that due to my stealing exSD, and it was horrible.

I am all for letting a kid stay at home while in college in order to avoid huge loans....but a kid like that, I'd just want him out and not care where he went. Sad. The army would be good for him.

We are intending to try and get him in the army. Thats the plan. Ig he refuses then he can get out of our home. Had enough of it.

Ol' Stickyfingers' tablet would be locked in my desk at work. Let him try to get a key for that.

Frankly, I'd temporarily turn off his smart phone and get him a cheap Trac phone that has only calls/texts. Or set up his phone as a CHILD's phone and lock that sucker down. What a shi'thead.

Is his father on-board for him leaving when he's done with high school?  I hope so, because I couldn't live that way.  Having to lock up everything (including the keys!) because the kid is dishonest is crazy.

Sadly we're not in the us so we cant do that. But he will be gone as soon as is humanly possible.
