Common Courtesy

Why don't BMs just have a little common courtesy and decency?? SS15 informed us today that he has to go do x tomorrow morning. BM had to sign him up and pay for it quite awhile ago. I don't have a problem with him doing x but I think she should have at least told DH about it before she signed him up since it was on our weekend. What if we had other plans? We would have needed to make other arrangements, but instead we find out the day before. GRRRR... And of course I am posting here instead of saying anything to my DH because it would just lead into an argument - he would just say Oh she probably just forgot, she's so busy, whatever...

I hate that crap.. BM#2 does this all the time. Two weekends ago, she called on Sunday to tell DH that SS12.5 got caught shoplifting at the mall the night before, sure they had a little conversation about that. Then the very next day, Monday, she calls at like 11 am and asks DH if he can pick SS up from school at 2:30. DH was like WTF? You didn't know you had to work yesterday, you couldn't have given me a little notice? But that's how she always does it, doesn't care if we have plans or a busy schedule or whatever, everyone is just expected to stop the presses and jump when BM says jump and unfortunately DH might get pissy with BM and crab about the nonsense, but guess what? HE ALWAYS DOES IT.. so she'll never stop. Why should she?
