not sure he cares.

I know this is not really a forum about problems with a husband...but I don't know where else to turn right now.

I just need to type it out I guess.

He had to work the weekend. And longer days yesterday and today than days during the week. One day earlier in the week, he stayed at his parents to hang out with brothers and step-dad to drink beers. Then Friday, I met him over there and brought dinner for everyone.

Yesterday when we got ss9 back from me driving all over kingdom come to get him...he worked late.

Today, he had to work late (albeit they had to have a job finished by today...construction). But SS9 is supposed to go back to BM tomorrow...probably while DH is at work...and he didn't come straight home. He stayed again at his parents (he drops his brother off there) because "everyone" was there. So I sit on the couch with SS9 and DD2 and we watch The Goonies and SS9 helps me to make sweet tea for his dad and I've had dinner in the crock pot all day for a nice Sunday dinner together.

He'll get home and want to sit on the couch and control the channel while he reads the news on his phone and get irritated when the kids get too loud.

Sad

Wish we were "everyone".

Sometimes men can't see past their nose. You need to bring it up when you feel the time is right, when he'll be receptive and you have his attention. He might not even realize this is bothering you. I confronted the DH when he kept working late and then making plans w co-workers and kids events, now he asks me if it's ok to go to this or that after work Smile

I'd say be thankful he has a job! But I do get the irratation with your situation. A good wake up call might be to tell him that when he's working ss needs to be in day care at his expense, that way he'll work less and get home sooner and you won't have to sit around babysitting his kid. THAT would annoy me Sad
