BM's new car
So in the ongoing saga of SSs not wanting to be with BM, and all the nasty stuff she's pulling as of late with their schools, etc.....they told my kids last weekend that BM has taped her window in her car up because it fell into the door. She drives a fairly nice Jeep but it is maybe 9 years old at this point. I have frankly been surprised that she hasn't gone out and "bought" herself something much more fabulous. I guess with her bankruptcy and foreclosure she just couldn't swing it at the time.
But good news! She has told them that her new car is going to be some type of Mercedes. :? Oh, and she still doesn't pay a cent toward their medical or their extracurriculars. But at least she'll have wheels that are worthy of her!

Hahaha, BM has leased a Jeep, brand new for the last few years because you know she needs it!
She also bought a new $70K trailer and is building a vacation house in resort town.
She tells the skids all the time how broke she is. If she had any money she'd be giving it all to them, not taking vacations like DH and I. They should ask Dad why he's being so selfish instead of giving them a better start.
Guess she forgot that we are the ones who got them through Uni? And they are adults who can and are taking care of themselves.

Dh should tell BM to hand the old car to SS, to fix up and all, then there's no need for them to buy SS a car when he turns 16.....
then SS can ask her every time he sees her or if she calls.. where's my car mummy...

BM did something similar
BM did something similar after the divorce was finalized. She had a nice car, couldn't have been more than 3 years old, and traded it in for a BMW. A leased BMW. The woman works part time at her family's restaurant. The woman is beyond shallow and gullible. She barely had it a week and one of boy toys was driving her to work and dropping her off. Dumbass extraordinaire. Lol
