Just a random vent of dirty people

I was taking a nap today and my husbands phone receives a text. I looked at it and it was from BM. Before anyone blasts me for looking at his phone just know we look at each other's phone all the time. We have iPhones and use it as our main source of internet, our computer now collects dust. If his phone is dead and charging he will use mine for entertainment and vice versa. If I receive a text while he is using mine, he will read it and respond for me - exactly what I say.

Anyways, BM texted her new address. I really wanted to texted back; "hope this house doesn't become condemned as well". Unfortunately, dh wouldn't let me. When ever dh has to text Bm info or is she requests info, she can never respond with a simple thank you. It's always a long text back about its DBS fault on something.

Her house really did become condemned. Or should I say trailor, but at least ss12 will finally have his own room. It's only the size of a bathroom, but before he was sharing with a 2 year old that threw rants at bedtime. Ss mentioned befor that he couldn't brush his teeth in the bathroom because there was dirty dishes in the bathroom sink, how they would go weeks without showers because the pipes would freeze, how Bm and her dh could not sleep in there bedroom because the bed was covered in clothes, and how there was mold growing in one room because of leaking pipes.

Bm and her dh think they are patriotic and donated the trailor to the local fire department as a training session. Her dh was in the military and then had a back issue. So he sits at home and collets disability because he is "hurt" - but oh wait, he was able to make 4 children with Bm.

Anyone else have skid/Bm dirty stories?

When ss comes over, we immediately wash everything. It always smells of very strong frabreez and whatever else Bm could find to mask the smells of her house.

It got really bad when I was pregnant, it would make me vomit.

We had an open case with CPS. They investigated all our claims and we received a letter stating there was not enough evidence. Bm lives in a state where many people raise families in this type of conditions and nothing is ever done about it.

Job positions -

Bm is a TSA agent at a small airport. So generally she is the "law", in her mind she is a judge, lawyer, politician, and a police officer. She once tried to claim my dh was kidnapping ss because SHE refused to pick him up at the agreed apon location.

See comment above. CPS could careless. We document, we call it in, and it's not enough for action to be taken.

This state is horrible when it comes to crimes against children. Just a few months ago a father left his infant in the car and fell asleep in the house. The infant died because it was over heating. The father got a slap on the wrist and none of his other 5 children got taken away.

My SIL is a social worker for this state. She tells me horrible "senerios" all the time and how her hands are tied with policies.

CPS believes that as long as the child has weather appropriate clothes to wear, food to eat (even if it's McD's), and a bed in a heated room to sleep in, there is no neglect. It doesn't matter if the kid is wearing stretch leggings she's had for 5 years that are threadbare, they still seem to fit. It doesn't matter that they never get a hot home cooked meal, and that you only know they make microwave pancakes/oatmeal/macaroni & cheese because of your skid. It doesn't matter that the room they sleep in is a converted garage, and they share their room with a water heater and don't have their own closet or a way to escape the house if there is a fire since the only other exit from their room is blocked off by a shed.

CPS sure has changed...

When dh was married to Bm, she stayed at home to care for ss. While dh worked 3 part time jobs and attended college full time. He said he would come home and the house would be trashed, so he would have to clean and cook dinner after a long day.

I beleive this is what led her to cheating on him. He probably didn't show her much affection because he was always tired and then had to come home to a mess. So she went out looking for it.

I understand that taking care of a baby is difficult, but I still make sure the house is spotless (almost like staging) and I have dinner ready for him every night. I will probably continue to do this when I go back to work because I want to keep my husband happy. Also he sucks at cleaning and I don't enjoy eating frozen pizza evey night Smile

Make me mad that children have to live in filth, they don't get to decide where to live or how to live.

It is annoying. I constantly have to tell people that just because by "normal" standards ex is a pig and his house is disgusting, it does not mean I can act on it - other people, sadly, are more gross, so CPS just kind of shrugs! I know to throw him in the bath when he gets here (this week he proudly declared "mom, look at my black feet, and I did not even go outside, this is just from INSIDE at dad's house"...errrr yeah). I am now looking forward to a summer of delousing, as they already have fleas there, and ants. So, the strip in the car and spray...it is tough as how can I possibly do this and act like I think dad's is ok? But I have my cats and refuse to get fleas sent to my apt. Sadly when I bought my new car, one of my criteria was leather seats because I want to be able to wipe down and delouse the car after pick ups.

My fake dad and step moms house was so bad, one year all of us had lice for 3 weeks.

Oh they also had 3 full grown Saint Bernards. They are known for excessive amounts of drool. They would never clean up there drool stains and they would stick to the wall.

And I thought it was bad when SD7 comes home and says "I like using this toilet. Mummy doesn't clean her toilet."
I can't decide if that's worse than when she came home and said "mummy pees in the shower."

This reminds me of my fake dads and step moms house. There was 6 of us in one room. 2 sets of bunk beds and a giant bean bag. My brother was the youngest and had to deal with all of us crazy women.

My mom and step dad moved us from a 4 bed 2 bath that was 100% paid off to a 2 bed 1 bath. She didn't like the fact the her MIL name was on the house. So she buys a trailor and put it on MIL property. Face to palm.

My Skids have head lice every time you turn around. They get sent home from school with it. So every time we get them, we have to treat their heads. We literally make them go straight to the bathroom, take off all their clothes from BM and take showers. Then we seal those clothes in plastic bags and put them in the garage. The SDs get their heads treated as soon as they are out of the shower. This has to be done every time b/c BM's house is full of roaches and lice. It is disgusting.

Yeahhh… our BM’s house is disgusting. SS17 always stinks like feet and BO and BM’s house raunch and is never made to take a shower at her house, which is where he chose to live because the rules at our house aggravate his “anger problems” and BM allows him to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants and doesn’t make him go outside and have a life. BM (aka Water Buffalo) will never stop making excuses for SS17’s bad behavior, selfishness and laziness or for herself being a gross, smelly, greasy lazy lard-ass who never gets off the couch unless it’s to get more food or go to the bathroom. Her entire apartment reeks of a combination of garbage, their body odor and ball sweat, patchouli and her nasty unwashed crotch stink. Sasquatch (her DH) is the only one who works. Somehow they always manage to have the latest laptop and video games and always manage to keep their cable on, but can never “afford” to do laundry. She and SS17 have had head lice numerous times and the latest… scabies *shudder* which DH allowed SS17 to come into our house with because he just couldn’t wait another week for his EOWE visit. Sadly I think SS17 and SS19 find the smell comforting because they are content to sit in it all day long and not go outside or have any kind of social life. To them, BM is MOTY. I think SS19 is finally starting to realize what a crap mom she is after a year in college to mature a little (plus the fact that he decided to live with DH and I even after SS17 moved in with BM) but will still always make excuses for her and still wants to sit at home all day playing video games and not ever spending time with friends. sad..

Water Buffalo also wears white stretch pants with years old menstrual stains running from the crotch down the leg. And black stretch pants with a hole that runs from the crotch to the knee and sits on the couch like that with her legs spread out when DH and I come to pick up the Skid. Blech!!! Oh… and a tee shirt with a hole right …. On… the NIPPLE!!! Good gawd, like anyone wants to see that! Granted her nipple falls where would be the middle of anyone else’s rib cage but on her, the damn tee shirt hole is right over the nip!! And do you think she can bother to put on a bra? Nope!!
