I was once a member of this site about 10 years ago, but stopped because people on here were just really. freaking. rude. Thought I'd give it another try. 

I haven't read through any blogs to see if the lingo is still the same, so if I use accronyms that are confusing just ask!

Anyway, I'm a bm of dd15 and smom several times. My first blender experience, I gained 2 wonderful sd's that are now 21 and 22 this year and bm and I are (or were) best friends. Long story short with that one, xh cheated on her with me and being "young and dumb" I didn't put 2 and 2 together til after we were married, by then, I felt obligated to stick it out. 3 months after we married he lost his job and never recouperated. 3 years later I finally threw in the towel after supporting him, and 7 others full time with 2 other capable working adults. (him and adult daughter i never developed a relationship with). Fast forward a few years, his daughters and I rekindled and their mom, we became best friends and both daughters still see me as a parent figure. 

I got caught in an abusive situation and lost a son at birth in that one-we'll just skip that whole story (sensitive).

Lived with my mom for 5 years to redevelop my independence. In the meantime, met dh and developed an unbelievebly beautiful relationship with his family (mainly his dad's side). He brought 6 kids in the picture (3 bio 3 steps he stayed close to). 5 boys and 1 girl. Current ages are 9-18. Just to keep it simple, we'll just say all 6 are dh's

Bm 1 has sd18 and ss16 and married to a pretty decent guy. Both have been in and out of mental institutions, sd18 is ready to abandon ship. ss16 is medically diagnosed with a 5 year old mind and is EASILY short tempered. I will help transport them, but will not keep ss16 unsupervised alone for more than a few hours

Bm2 is a gu of ss's 9 through 14 and married to a complete loser, both are complete welfare junkie, lives off charity cases (bumming off others) and even lives in her mom's house and pays little to no rent. I think in 5 years, I have NEVER seen her work, and only seen him work MAYBE a month. 

I chose to speak to neither, am kosher with bm 1 but wont even give bm 2 eye contact except on RARE occassions.
