Europe is retarded on CS
I just read some government website in our country (in Europe) where it says that CS DOES NOT STOP when the child turns of legal age!!!!
The CS stops only when either the kid gets married, or finds a job.
GOOD GRIEF!
And even when the child finds a job, if he/she decides to go back to school, lucky dad will have to resume paying CS!

I wasnt able to find any documents where it says that my income should also be calculated into paying his child support. No way in hell would i do this.
Also, if the father remarries, and has another child with his new wife, how is then CS calculated? Does having another child impacts the CS?

It's like that here in certain states of the U.S. as well. If a kid is determined to be "special needs" (pretty much 80% of skids are "special needs" by my account as their parents failed to teach them anything) then CS can continue beyond the age of 21 here in NYS
I think that for such "kids" alcohol and voting rights should be suspended until such time as mommykins gets off the gravy train. None of this "having their cake and eating it too"

So seriously, they can keep popping kids out, and you will be financially responsible, until the time they either marry, or find a job.

But in this fucked up country, even if the parents are still married, if the child is over 18 and decides it wants to move out just for the fuck of it, without having a job and an income, it can sue the parents for the fkn child support. Now thats even more sick.

Yep. Where I am, I believe they can stay in high school, classified as special needs, until the age of 23. I totally understand about the children who have physical and mental disabilities, or similar struggles who need our support and love. They need to be given the best education and treatments. But I cannot understand the ones like my boyfriend's son, who is 18 and still has a year to go. He failed because he is lazy, he is quite capable academically. Oh, and he has been suspended for coming to school high. So, another year of paying for his laziness. And he won't have anything to do with my bf until my bf breaks up with me. He will be getting that wish soon, but I will be the one leaving.
My bf's adult children would be getting supported until he died if we were in one of these other countries. BM would be in heaven. The ASkids are so lazy, it makes me sick to my stomach, as I am sure you can ALL relate to. BM refuses to work, and has no problem that her children are also beyond lazy. I have a chronic illness, yet I will be working full time soon (praying for that job). It appalls me, it really does, that healthy young adults sit home all day playing video games.
These laws need to be changed. I am so scared for our future. The laziness and entitlement I see is increasing, and we should all be scared. Laws like these make no sense at all.
And no way in hell would my income support my Skids. That is disgusting.
