Last night was a really good night. SD16 was gone to stay with SIL by the time I got home. SD14, DH, and DS1 went for a walk, and got ice cream. I wish it could be like this ALL the time. Don't get wrong, SD14 isn't "perfect" but she is a normal teenager. She has her mouthy moments, and she makes her mistakes, but when she is told to straighten up, she does. No questions asked. In her not so great moments, she will just go to her room and give the silent treatment, but I much prefer that to the hell SD16 causes. She is a maniac, and I can't stand her any more. I feel horrible for saying that, but I can't try to "do" anything else for her. I have not spoken one word to the girl for 7 days. Just seeing her gets my blood pressure up.

I am SOO looking forward to this weekend! SD16 will be gone right after school tonight, and won't be back until sometime Monday night. Just me, DH, DS1, and SD14. We are going to have a blast!! Plus I will be gone Saturday night for awhile, so that will give DH some time with SD14.

I can't wait!!
