RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!

MarriedaBallessWonder's picture

Last night my H and I were out having some frozen yoghurt. A couple came in with 6 kids. The man and women were holding hands and them man kept lovingly rubbing her arm and brushing her cheek and taking her hand into his and gently kissing it. It appeared the man had 4 boys and she had 2 girls.

I said to my H "I bet they aren't married yet." A blended family in the making. I wanted to walk up to the lady and tell her to RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!! You don't know what you are getting into!

My friend was in Wal Mart and this woman was there with her 7 hellions screaming around. She was in the pharmacy area so my friend popped a packet of condoms in her cart and prayed she got a clue!

I never took my kids shopping with me hungry or tired. Also if they started acting up I would park the cart and march out to the car and give them time out until they settled down. If they didn't we went home with nothing and the kid went straight to bed. My kids learned quickly that if they behaved often I would slip some candy or little fun things into the cart and they'd get rewarded. I had to be firm b/c my oldest is disabled and would often push the limits. I heard a kid in a cart the other day and his cry definately sounded exhausted. I wanted to tell the young mom to take him home and put him to bed. Kids don't shop well.

Ahh a kindred spirit. I hate it when little ones are certainly over tired yet the parents push on because, well, they have PLANS!

Haha, it seems like every time I start to have a heart-to-heart with my younger siblings or their friends, I end up saying, "...and remember, whatever you do, don't get involved with a person who has a child!" Sounds evil, but boy I wouldn't wish the craziness that I've gone through on anybody.

(...says the woman who still has time to turn away from the alter but won't! Wink )

When I toly my H I wanted to tell her to run, he had a sad look on his face.

Every family thinks it will be all love and roses. I did! LOL!

Oh God, if I only knew what I was in store for and that everyone would come first, talk to me and treat me like I didn't matter and my H would let me be the 3rd wheel in our marriage thanks to batshit crazy ExW.

If you aren't married yet and are reading this RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!! NOW while you have time!
