Rehab for BM
So DH just gets a text from BM saying she is going to rehab and that SS will need to stay with us for a little while longer. She then goes on to say when she gets back on her feet he can come home.
Home to where? She has no home. And has she conveniently forgotten about the custody hearing? I sure hope that text helps our case even more. It was sent straight to the lawyer.
At least I know SS is safe for now and we don't have to worry about her coming to get him anytime soon.

It always bothers me just how forgiving the courts are when it comes to BM.
If this was dad he'd have lost visitation a long time ago. Push for supervised or just day time since like you said there is no home.

I wouldn't expect too much of her saying she's going to rehab. BM here has said it so many times. Always an excuse why she had to leave, or "find a new program". Getting clean is hard. Very few actually get clean and stay clean. Sad, but true.

NO she has not, she's playing the system, custody will not change while she's getting help, and they might postpone the hearing cause this poor poor woman is trying her best and she's in rehab now... Make sure the hearing still happens and that you win

That's what I am worried about. The hearing should still happen. DH is meeting with the lawyer today so we should know more today.
